exyzus 64 Report post Posted April 13, 2024 Question about re-specing. Take claw as an example, it comes in 5 specs - NS, MS, PS, FS ATS. Are the probability of getting each spec the same? Or do MS have a higher chance since the claw is primarily a MS weapon. Same goes for sword, it comes in 6 specs - NS, KS, MS, PS, FS and ATS. Are the probability of getting each spec the same? Or do KS have a higher chance since the SWORD is primarily a KS weapon. Thanks!

Regardless of the item and class user of the item.
jcompher 240 Report post Posted April 13, 2024 Depends.... the wand only has like 4 specs it can be... prs, mgs, shaman, and i think atlanta... so the chances if getting one of those specs are higher than say the axe which i think can be any spec but prs, mage, and shaman. it depends on what the item is and how many different chars it can end up being. Yea I understand that getting a mgs wand is easier than getting a fs ax, but given the known specs that's available to each weapon. Are the probability of getting each spec the same. So for wand, would prs/mgs/shaman/ats/ns all have 20% probability? Or is prs/mgs have slightly higher? Can GM verify this? @Overlady

Overlady 5,238 Report post Posted April 14, 2024 (edited) Hey there! You will always have a 60% chance of obtaining a specialized item. Once obtained, there is a 70% chance of receiving a primary spec and a 30% chance of receiving a secondary spec. If there are multiple secondary spec, the chance will be equally divided among the options. If the item has no primary spec, you will have a 100% chance of receiving any of the options. Best, Overlady Is the primary spec of claw MS? So if I take claws as an example (assuming MS is the primary spec). When I respec, 40% NS, 60%*70% = 42% MS, the remaining 18% is divided between PS, FS ATS, which are 6% each. Is my understanding correct?

Usually yes, but it can vary based on the item, you can check the item guide: And yes again Best, Overlady 1
