Garrix 143 Report post Posted April 27, 2024 Guys, It is with regret that we observe the persistence of the LAG issue on the server during Sundays in SW, a matter that, as widely known, has dragged on in the past. We have already taken the step to cease participation as a form of protest, but everything is happening again. We are tired of hearing promises that the game's responsible team will solve the problem, or seeing our discussion thread, when opened, being closed with the assertion that the issue has been resolved, when in fact it hasn't. Given this situation, we have decided to withdraw from SW competition on Sundays. The server lacks the necessary support to handle the LAG, and we are not willing to ask our friends to sacrifice one or two hours of their time in the game only to be frustrated by constant issues, whether complaining or becoming irritated with the situation. Those who enjoy PVP will continue to participate, but we will no longer have the intense competition among multiple clans with over fifty members fighting for a crown. Until a definitive solution to the LAG problem is found, we will not participate fully on Sundays, ensuring the absence of this LAG. We hope that when the game's responsible team manages to resolve this issue, we can resume our interest in the competition with renewed enthusiasm. Note: The first time we made this decision, we were on the winning side, yet even in that situation, it became impossible to continue playing. What truly matters is the quality of the gaming experience, and it is essential that it be satisfactory for all participants, regardless of their position. 13 8
Support 4,244 Report post Posted April 27, 2024 Hi, First of all, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and everyone else due to the lag issue. We know that you feel like we have done nothing when the lag is still there but let's we assure you that a lot of things have been done in the background to remedy the issue. Each week, we monitor and analyze the server status to find the root cause of it (that including hardware & coding), several optimizations have been delivered unfortunately the issue has not been fully resolved as we all anticipated. The coding of this game is very old, so it is not a simple task for our development team just to turn on the kill switch to the lag and fix it in one go. We know we have asked this for very long time but we can only identify the issue during the Siege War time so we would like to ask everyone to give us more time to work on this. Your voices are not being ignored, we hear it, and we are working hard to fix it that is our promise to you. Regards, Support 20
Hamand 78 Report post Posted April 27, 2024 In short, without you, the developers won't be able to find the problem, since lag happens when it's super crowded. Think carefully about this post and come back with an attitude of wanting to help the server instead of simply leaving when things go wrong. 1 1

Things have been going wrong for years, where have you been all this time?

And it still persists?
