This patch balance was made to let players happy or mad?

Unfortunately, all these nerfs in PvE were caused by the EB macros. The game remains the same; they nerfed the AS perforation skill, but there are still many bots in boss fights. They nerfed the mage, but there's still a lot of macroing in EB... The problem has never been the classes but rather the abuse and lack of punishment for such actions.

I don't know where you found this, being that it lost damage and doesn't hit hits, you probably tested it with some char without quality items

It seems that they only make changes that will bring some benefit to them, not for the players, there is this pattern in all updates

% maximize loss, received on passive
obliterate has been a lot of dmg now

machanic bomb get double atk pow add
spark receive more 10% dmg
impulsion losses dmg but now hits 2 times all targets

Its funny how we get new items but classes get nerfed. So we all get this buff from items and relics and weapons yet classes skills get nerfed. It kinda gets to the point why we getting buffed from items if classes are getting nerfed. It doesnt make sense

Basically, they release new items but decrease the characters' damage, which means you pay and play endlessly to stay exactly the same as two years ago. xD

 

The only 'good' part of the update was the nerf to buffs; perhaps they want to prevent everyone from being stuck with buffs all the time. However, I still think there are several other ways (which were even suggested) to avoid this. I'm still not impressed that the staff is 'writing straight with crooked lines'. 😐

+ 1 For reworking this "balance"


I think that when we talk about balance, this encompasses the possibility of all players with decent itens + relics being able to have fun in PvP or PvE, even more so when we consider that 90% of players on the server not have 17x chara with complete relic and cent brac for example..

Observe the currente BC and draw your conclusion, it doesn't take much to notice that only BS can now have a good dmg, because it is still completely broken.

Alright, now event is over and we back to our sad reality. No damage in PVE, no damage in PVP, no feedback from the STAFF. Will we have to play with this "NICE" balance for how long? 
Return the divine force/enchant weapon buffs or do something that leaves equivalent damage
This patch was a downgrade for the server 😦

@erickloro, "Maximize" gave more damage then the passive could provide, even with that buff. That's why the buffs at the other skills are not beeing taken to the equation! Even with the buff at passive and skills, MS is doing less damage then before because the nerf at "Maximize".

Every second of burn stands for ~*7 hits. If you're spamming RoZ, the damage will be slightly lower than before because the burn is being replaced all the time. But if you're following your rotation, it is a buff. Every damage boost change on skills with burn makes little to no difference because of the insane amount of hits it produces, but burn duration makes a lot of difference. Just check the reductions on Flame Wave.

Maximize only increases maximum attack, not both minimum and maximum like Weapon Mastery. If we further buff the Mechanician's damage, it will become more powerful than a Fighter in 1v1 situations, which is something we don't want to happen. Previously, Mechanic bomb and Impulsion were overtuned on the main target as a way to counterbalance the half damage to AoE. Now, they are weaker on the main target but stronger on the AoE, as it should be.

I think the problem is that the damage nerf is general but each class works 100% differently, it doesn't make sense either to intend it to work. My prediction is if you don't cancel this patch you'll have to rebalance a whole lot more. BS/KS tanking skills a lot, which will affect PvE in a parallel way. MG will become op as everyone's nerfed but them, PS/BS and PRS will stay secondary on top; ata, ass, as and ss will require damage adjustment on 1x1 PvP/PvE skills, Mech can be deleted or 100% redone

 

Or just cancel the patch, and my advice:

- adjust broken skills in BS/PS first: Shattered Impact about 40% and decide if BS keeps its tanking reduce attack, or keep attack reduce damage reduction by 5%+

- adjust PS hit kill skills

- then AoE skills individually for all classes and (PvE separated from PvP). Keep the role of each class. Mage/SS/As were usually focused on strong PvP, PRS secondary.

- Mech should be top tanker, today its KS/BS; consider applying a small damage reduction power in mech; debuffs and poison/slowing skills or dynamic explosive attack (like retaliation)

 

in this @Overlady please consider this patch and players experiences and ideascategory

The final damage boost impacts more strongly on classes with huge damage boost multipliers. In other words, classes with high damage output but slower, like the brawler, got weaker due the lower percentage multiplier. The same principle applies to damage reduction, it is reduced in the final value, the higher the damage, the stronger the reduction, whereas with less damage, damage reduction weakens, and absorb becomes stronger.

Overall, we haven't seen any significant nerfs in PvE, except for Enchant Weapon. The buff was on our list to receive a fair reduction to half damage for party members, just like most other buff in the game.

i believe that if a buff came for the power mech just for the pve it would solve a lot of the class's problems.

No problem in removing buffs, but you need somehow give back our damage, in PVE so we dont get harmed, and in PVP because the pvp became ridiculous tanker. It's really boring someone go there 5v1 and still manage to get out alive, also you almost never can kill 1v1 cuz takes alot time to kill/die. Some classes are almost immortals (yes brawler). I suggest you change pvp dmg modifiers 1v1.
In PVE maybe reduce mobs hp.
