Adjustments for assassin

Hello @Overlady gostaria de dar uma sugestão para Assassin.

About the Skill  9_63.png Fatal Mastery, this skill could follow a pattern similar to the skill 1_70.png Boost Health, increasing the damage reduction as it takes damage and its HP decreases. In the case of the Assassin, it might be a lower value because it already has a lot of evasion, but even so, it can’t handle damage very well in most situations. This would make it more enjoyable to play since it’s a melee class. A bit of damage reduction suited to the reality of the Assassin would help a lot, or even a gradual evasion debuff in exchange for damage reduction would really improve the progress and overall reality of the class.

About that skill 9_43.pngGust Slash, please increase the skill area to 140-150. The current area of 130 is too low for such a good skill. With such a low area, it's not worth giving up points to invest in it. For a while, this skill had an area of 140, but it was reduced again to 130. When it was at the higher level, the results were really good. Please reconsider improving its area again.

A good suggestion for the assassin class. I don't understand how a char can be so forgetful. I repeat: there's no point in having high damage if the character doesn't tank 1 mob in EB.

Fatal Mastery is Offensive Skill
For this case, it would be using defensive skills like 9_30.png Blade Mastery

About that skill 9_43.pngGust Slash, It barely compares to a 1v1 skill and slightly exceeds if it is a mechanical type, really a waste of points.
I don't see the need to ask for a buff to that skill when there are more important skills in the assassin build.

The main problem I see is that Evade is an attribute that only works for ranged and area attacks...
And our assassin is a melee type player... so is it incompatible?
unless she is a ranged player.

Simply one of the many mistakes made by the original developers of the Pr1stonTale game.

Ass can tank decently on 1v1 cases, more than enough.

Yet multiple mobs- terrible. Yet that’s the idea of the character, glass cannon, who pays the price in multiple mobs tanking.

you guys expect every character to be a ks/ss/ mage/prs at PvE.

Every char has its own strengths and weaknesses.

What is the assassin's strong point in pve? In Pve, the killer goes together with MS, PS.

Explain to me, why it must be because of this point that there are full of ass in the game.

Excelling both in 1v1 DPS and AOE DPS. In both of them, she's top 3 at least.

She's also great on 1v1 scenarios. Tanks more than enough while killing very fast.

Also- Who picks ms for top killer? pike is also decent, yet not a top killer also.

Now the point: If you like playing glass cannon melee, while still being able to tank 1v1 cases without ruining your DPS go ass.

You can't expect it to be a ks ( Which btw- ss is a lot more chill than ks).

If you want a relatively chill gameplay, you can go ss/ks but ass isn't for ya.

Assassin is one of best dps class in game. Together with prs mgs ks fs. The class is very squishy but if you play well with good build its a decent class.

You mean the evasion of ass? It works when shes being attacked.

She also has wisp, and low hp melee's hp pool( even more than pike).

About Shadow Bomb: Maybe it would be better if this skill was an area without Target, because many times the assassin walks while attacking, thus breaking the position where you calculated the safe area to hit nearby targets, or considerably increasing the activation time, because this skill really causes some problems because it doesn't keep the assassin in a fixed place sometimes.
In tests that I did, it is always necessary to target the skill in the air so that the ass doesn't walk towards the crowds of monsters.
Basically it is all a job of recalculating the skill's update area all the time.

About the assassin's speed move: I would like to make a suggestion to transfer the speed move of Decception, which is the assassin's invisibility skill, to another skill, such as Impes or Allas, so that she can move without depending on the invisibility skill, because it is a big disadvantage compared to the archer being able to run extremely fast and hit from long distances, while the assassin is extremely slow like a melee to reach the target. Another option would be for the impes to activate 50% of Deception's movement speed, so when Deception is deactivated, she still has 50% movement speed left.
If we consider that the assassin has dual weapons with a very open defense and therefore becomes very fragile, I believe it would make more sense as a class of escape, concealment and survival for her to always have good mobility, since there is no intention of making her have changes in the sense of tanking more like a melee.

Well anyway, even if you don't like the suggestions I mentioned, I hope we can have some improvements for the assassin, as it is a very good class that is very much in disuse by players due to its level of difficulty and gameplay.

I know a lot of people who would like to play this class, but they all give up sooner or later.

Yes, but the assassin does not enjoy the same range as the archer, mgs, ata, or prs who have activation range on their weapons and skills, and the bad click happens frequently, which makes her very uncomfortable to play.
I don't know how the assassin was a class designed to be melee, if she tanks less than the archer, mgs and prs.
It is a class that can take advantage of her invisibility, but she was poorly designed, because when she attacks 1vs1 she loses this characteristic and her entire dynamic changes from that.
I really think the assassin deserved a makeover, in Wartale so many things are done, such as the BS that was rebuilt 100% within the parameters of Wartale, making her exclusive and different from any other server.
The shaman has also adapted well, but the assassin has always been kept aside over the years.
This is not just my opinion, for many years that I have played everyone complains about the assassin.
A class that has a full 140 bsol with a boss set can't even tank Iron Core, since it's a map for a 132 level.
Here in Wartale, BS and Assassin are the only two classes that use dual weapons. The difference is that BS was well built and structured, while Assassin comes from a standard from other servers and has never been reviewed as it should have.
I'm really sorry for giving this opinion, but having played with Assassin for so many years, I've been with Assassin from the lowest levels to the end game with Assassin completely full, and in PVE she leaves a lot to be desired.
She's undoubtedly better here in Wartale than on any other server. Here you've managed to make her a very interesting character, more in line with the standard of what you can and are able to do. I'm sure you can make her a class with much more potential.
Anyone who played in the realmpt era knows very well that Assassin was just a character for evasion buffs, until several reconstructions were made on her and she can be played today.
Well, I just hope that one day this class will be given a closer look, because as far as I've seen, it's never been 100% included in the game.

Maybe as a mining option, but nowadays things are changing so that all classes need a profession for quests and for HellFire DG, the assassin will probably be forgotten again.

I think it's a bit sad that the player likes one class and has to play another because the one you like is unplayable.

Another big problem with the class is also its skill set. It requires a large amount of points from tier 1 to tier 3 to be able to put together a build. While many important skills for an assassin are in these first 3 tiers, tiers 4 and tier 5 have skills that are not that important in the overall trajectory of the game, such as Ninja Shadow and Shadow Storm.
Ps' Shadow Storm is very bad compared to Ninja Shadow, a single hit with recoil and loss of invisibility. In PvE it doesn't help the Assassin much. If at least she could deliver successive hits like Ps's, it would be better. Not to mention that PS has a shield and 1 hand to fight with.
Ninja Shadow is also another waste of skills.
It's a combination of problems that makes the Assassin very unfeasible to compose.
A lot of agility in her Bracelets; Poor structuring of their skills, few points to distribute between 3 tiers (1, 2 and 3), and tier 4 and 5 with skills that could have more important roles to alleviate the lack of skills of the lower tiers.

Reliance on invisibility to have good mobility, becomes an easy target without it, if the subject is 1vs1 attacks.

Excessive evasion that the class has, more easily dies (wouldn't it be more viable for it to have something that made it tank better and reduce its evasion)?

In all the RPGs I've seen so far, none of the assassin classes are made to tank, but they are given elements that make them lethal offensively. When they have to use melee devices, they need a lot of dexterity (Walk speed) to articulate their blows, but they are fragile targets if their demand fails, but they can still try to escape with high evasion and movement to survive. But the class was created since the beginning of the game when the assassin was released, without these elements. Here, when the surprise attack fails, it simply ends for the assassin. The time to become invisible again and escape is very unlikely, which always made me wonder what the mobility of a class has to do with the ability to become invisible? This should just be an assassin's artifice.
For an archer to use a 300-second buff, and be fast all the time, being able to defend himself with a shield and attack from long distances, or being able to use armor and still be fast at any time he wants, this describes better what an assassin could be than the Assassin class itself in this game, at least for me.
The assassin class in this game currently makes no sense to me.

Assassin is fine as it is today. What do you expect for a class that use dagger? Make her ranger? Too much fantasy bro. Assassin can escape its either use soul shock or ninja shadow. She has mobility, invisibility and violent stub that can hitkill most of the class.

People always summarize things in PVP, and where is PVE? Are you going to play against monsters using invisible and violent Stub?
Really, if you summarize the class only in PVP, it is really good.
Do you really play with Ass? Invisible is tired when attacking 1v1 and its mobility is terrible and it ends up crying because it does not tank on any map.
So that's it, if I want to have fun in the game with Assassin, which is the class I like, I limit myself to PVP?
Because all the content in the game is difficult for the class, and you came to say that the class is good as it is, well, give it a break.
Wartale took BS and redid all the exclusive skills of the character, changed its graphics, in other words, created a new class.
Assassin was created years ago and was poorly designed. I played for years here, waiting for Wartale to remake it and fix the mistake made by the Assassin's creators and make it a playable class. If there's a place they can do it, it's here. But the problem is that years have passed and you still can't have fun with the class. You suffer from start to finish with it. You can have your opinion, but I think 95% of people agree with me.

Many people said they would play this class because it's very beautiful, but it's impossible to play with it.

In short, Assassin was destined for mining and PVP if you have a lot of level and items, and like to change classes to pass some time and then give up on it.

If you think I'm talking nonsense, just look at the Assassin's rank. Very few people go ahead or stick with this class. It must be because it's good, right?

Assassin is playable in SS even in EB 1v1 mob. Maybe you just want to have an easy game. Thats not a problem with the developer anymore.

So continue with your opinion, I have mine. Really an Assassin with 20 or 25 levels above the map, and with full items and relics can play well on the maps, full 148 in eb will die equally, a standard of 142 144 items with some relics and gems already exceeds the normal eb estimate because you would already be level 152 +, take other classes with this same standard of items then you tell me, so I think it's not a question of me wanting facilities but of being able to play with the class I like and it being unfeasible to play because it is poorly designed. Still if you think it's cool then have fun.

Reworking the assassin class is too much work in relation to the complaint. Other complaints about assassin is just skill etc. now here comes you , wanting the class to rework as a whole. I just believe all class with proper gears can tank and will be playable otherwise its not. Assassin is playable pvp pve, no need for too much work to rework it.

In the first place, assassin is almost a complete package class, poison, stun, ice ( slow) , invisibility, movement speed, hitkills, attack rating debuff, fire burn, attack speed. The only disadvantage of this class is squishy and cannot wear a shield with its own spec. If you want her a tanky class, then your making the assassin a broken class. Lol

-1 for your suggestion its too much work

the class is already ready in structure and everything, so changing its skill constitution would not be an exorbitant job, we are not talking about creating a new class, and without requalifying one that already exists. Really speaking as you said, it has a good skill set, but they are all in tier 1, 2 and 3, there is no way to build a build and take advantage of all the skills as you are saying, reminding you that pollute and shadow do not have great effects against characters, as they are aoe skills that cannot cause great impacts in pvp, venon torn is very good for pvp but does not have points without giving up basic skills, as well as whisp which is bebuff and stun, you would have to be more than 16x to be able to build a reasonable build and take advantage of all these advantages.  Another point is that obviously if they were to change the assassin's stats it wouldn't be to make her a broken class, that's why the name is rebalancing, because we would find something that would be around better tanking and not killing excessively. I think that if some points of the assassin were reviewed we wouldn't even need such excessive work. I just suggested that given Wartale's level they would be able to make the assassin something unique that we would only have in Wartale, just like Bs is exclusive. In several YouTube videos on other servers, they never managed to make the assassin a good character to play, because as I said it's not about Wartale, but rather about whoever originally designed the assassin. And when she arrived here in Wartale they could have done the same thing they did with BS, because the class was poorly designed since its creation and planning. If the team makes a map with the quality of Hellfire as we saw, what is an adjustment to a simple character?  I don't think it's anything special. And it's not about making broken characters, I wouldn't want that, but rather seeing a class that was born dead being fixed by Wartale. Even if it takes them a year to do this, is it that difficult to understand?

So anyone who has ever played on their ass knows how difficult it is. Unfortunately, people come here to give their opinion saying that the class is as good as it is, but can they throw a party for an ass? There's no point in asking for butt improvements here. you will always be ignored and the team doesn't seem to want to see that it is unfeasible to play with a melee class that doesn't even tank 1 mob.

Giving my point here. I like the play style with assassin the only thing that bothers me is the chance of burn (shadow bomb) and poison chance (pollute)... If dps is the main proposal for this class dont make me waste time trying to apply burn a poison on monster.

When I talk about tanking 1 mob, it's logical that I'm relating the character's low defense and blocking. Even so, a full 144 +24 assassin compared to other characters, is very weak and dies easily. just look at the number of assassins in the game. It's not difficult to notice how weak the class is in relation to PVE.

ASS IS CURRENTLY JUST MINNING CHAR.

The assassin has undergone some balancing since the realmpt era, one of the main balancing changes was about the RTG attack in the passive skill, that's ok.
Whisper has undergone balancing, ok.
Pollute and Shadow Bomb are the main skills of the assassin, they have already undergone several balancing changes, I won't say that this is 100%, but it is considerably good, regarding the poison + burn combo, this is still a complication because the chances are still very low to organize a combo, but used individually according to each monster's weakness, it meets the needs.
The big problem is not this yet, other points as I mentioned above, such as: distribution of points in the first tiers 1, 2 and 3 where there are many skills in the assassin's arsenal to choose from where you need to have a lot of level for this, makes the assassin a dysfunctional class.
Associating Invisible with Speed move is a mistake, because it breaks the assassin when she is not invisible, this should be (Speed Move) reallocated to another skill. Some tier 4 and 5 skills, if they were better used, would make up for some of the Assassin's shortcomings. Even if the Shadow Storm skill, the last tier 5 skill, were replaced by something that would solve the problem of the Assassin not tanking anything, even a Pet would be better than this skill, which would help a lot.
Now, people who don't even play the class came here to say that the class tanks and you just need to have the right items. They must be playing a different game than the one we know.
It's probably possible that nothing will change, but at least I did my part, coming here and giving my feedback, based on the time I've played the class and the experiences I've had throughout the game.
It's just a matter of the team wanting to test the points that were mentioned and see what can be done.
And to make it very clear, the assassin has undergone several positive changes over time, and yes, many things have become good, they just haven't managed to make it consistent enough to be a class chosen as the main one by someone who plays, and they will always prefer more designed classes where they have already managed to do great work that turned out very well, so people don't want to invest so much time and relic items and gems in a class that in the end can't even come close to many others in the game, the scenario will only change and people will start to have the assassin as a good character when it is designed in a better way.

The assassin has undergone some balancing since the realmpt era, one of the main balancing changes was about the RTG attack in the passive skill, that's ok.

I totally agree with you.
