well as the topic says, i already know some words, the  past and present tense of them. But i wanna know how to construct a good grammar. cuz everytime i try to, my br friend corrects me and he says. "lots of grammar error"

portuguese is difficult, i belive that u can't have a good portuguese without living in brazil

for atleast 1 year, this if u have studied before coming

So, I see you want to learn the Brazilian Portuguese, right?

 

First of all, I have to say Portuguese indeed is one very difficult language. One thing which comes to my mind to explain that is that the forming rules of sentences are more complex, and I can tell portuguese is less "economic" than Portuguese. One example of this is the verbal conjugation. As far as I know, Portuguese has more different ways to express time in verb conjugation, while English uses more a amount of already known words.

Portuguese is, like Spanish, French and Italian, based on Latin, so it's gramatical structure is pretty different than English one.

 

It's considered the most hard language to learn, because of the shitload of language rules and the many exceptions to those rules. It's even hard to people who uses that their whole life (take IaaN as example, Brazilian mod and his Portuguese is really poor).

 

With that I mean you won't find an easy way to use Portuguese. Learn with your mistakes, or start a Portuguese course
