Mount capture mini-game

Hi, is the mount capture mini-game affected by our ping or is it a client sided thing and I'm just having bad timing sometimes?

 

I'm practicing a lot on the website trainer at various speeds and have success there, but when I go in game it doesn't translate as results. Note that I'm not even trying hard mounts, even on the easier ones, sometimes I do very well on timing for them (Hopi, Cuepy, Rabie, etc) but other times I just can't seem to hit the timing or the correct spot.

 

Do we have to account for the delay related to our ping? I noticed I don't always have the same ping to the server. I don't have much money to try multiple captures/crystals to test it myself when I have different ping numbers.

 

Is it just me being off-timing sometimes or is this a server-sided thing that needs to account for ping?

Hello, almost all players suffer from the issue of lags (PING) except for the players closest to the Wartale server.

In this case, here in Brazil, we use EXITLAG.

It is a great platform for reducing PING.
Here in my game, without Exit, it is 250 to 280 PING.
With ExitLag, it is between 130 and 170 PING.

 

If you register on their platform, you can test ExitLag for 3 business days, which will give you a good improvement in PING/FPS.

 

And now, with their BLACK promotions, it is a great way to sign up for 1 year with them for a very affordable price.

Yes, weekends are lot harder to get even the simple ones because of so many players in the game creating lag.  And if your computer has been running for days without a hard restart.  Before I go gathering to also capture mounts, I restart my computer.

 

I can only get the more difficult ones on Wednedays and Thursdays usually.  The weekends I have a hard time even just getting the Honys and Pokies.

I always found this mini-game unfair. I also have the same ping problem and I can't capture the easiest mount (Hopi) In my opinion, it would have to be something fairer and not dependent on ping to capture.

The mount capture training website doesn't have the factors ping, FPS, among other things..
You'll notice that on the site, you can hit the target much more easily when you click exactly at the right time on the pixel in the mini-game.
In the actual game, though, you often have to anticipate your click to hit the pixel, unfortunately.
I believe there are many factors that influence, such as the monitor's refresh rate (hz), FPS, ping, among other things..
I hope you can improve within the game's possible conditions and become an excellent mount capturer.

Ping do not affect the minigame, but your FPS and frame rate will.

You just have to practice in the game and get used to what your computer does with it.  It look me many fails before I could consistently capture them.  And I notice when my computer is running slower and Ive been able to adjust myself to match whatever lag my computer has.  Sometimes I get the bar when Im nowhere close to it when I hit the spacebar.  It takes a lot of gold in order to get decent at it.

Exactly, you just need to practice. You'll loose a lot of gold, but it is what it is. The only mounts that I fail a lot are the roosters and helltusk, they are pretty hard due to the bar size. But the rest of them you'll be able to succeed if you have the patience and if you are willing to spend a lot of gold.

I make all required foods and it still saying i only have the capture crystals. Can any1 tell me what i am doing wrong?

Are you talking about adoption? Food must be gourmet.

Theres a practice thing in the app that you use to link personal shops offline.  But it is not accurate and I do not think it will help at all, considering that being successful depends on the timing your computer handles.  I think the only way to practice accurately is to do it in game.  And yes it costs money since captures are expensive and you lose when you fail a lot... but its the only way to get better at it.  If it were easier, everyone would be doing it and mounts would be worthless.
