Hello Mates!

 

I have been playing this game for years, started in 2005 (when I was 13y), stopping and coming back, and now (33y) moved from Brazil to Australia, now after 2 years and due to improve my English, I`d like to do this post here to report for you all my experience and starting from zero with my favourite class, a Mechanic, since difficulties and good stuffs, the point here is report and perhaps contribute for any improvement in game to help new players and become more and more comfortable to have fun.

 

 

As I have an account with low levels, I`m gonna start as a real new player (and casual), without money or help, doing available quests and catching money from the ground, during the week playing around 2-3 hours per day, on weekends a bit more, and of course, trying to report without using translate 😁.

So, let`s see how it goes 🙌

 

 

 

1# report: Done the first quest, witch I had to delivery a lollypop and receive 25k gold, with that money I could bought my first gear, filled my inventory of hopy cristals and go straight to garden of freedom, 5 minutes I was level 15 and coming back to Ricarten to buy my first skill in area (mechanic bomb), take some new quests, buy hobgoblin cristals and going to the next map, Refuge of the Ancients.

 

2# report: Going to Refuge of the Ancients, in the middle of the way, the night has fallen I found a Star (blessing from the skies), I have no ideia what I can do with this, I`ll check it further...

Reaching Refuge of the Ancients, no problems and 10 minutes after level 27, some quests finished, exping was going a bit slowly and I decided to come back to Ricarten buy a couple of skills e get more quests (the rewards are helping me a lot, specially to buy cristals).

 

Notes:   I have not seen any pot of mana at the moment, it is a bit weird or at least unlucky from my part 🤡

Could be interesting dropping forces like sereneo and spark, I`m missing and even I`m low level, my preference is killing with my hands then spamming a lot of cristals...

 

3# report: Next map Ruinem Village, first step I`m going to Blacksmith and update my gears, let`s get some levels here. Finally I got my first pot of mana, the items that I have been dropping during the levelling are the same level then me, witch is pretty good. Charity box, awesome idea to help new players, unfortunately there was no items for me 😪. 

 

Notes: A lot of items, pots and gold on the ground is really annoying, I have to pick up a lot of trash until reach the main item that I wish.

Suggestion: loot filter as reward in the first levels (in premium shop npc is almost 3kk, impossible for a new player).

 

Notes 2: Gatherer Instructor, the items was really expensive for me, I don't  know what level I`m gonna do this kind of activity but if the items were cheaper, I could have started by this point...

 

 

2 hours playing and Level 35 was reached, tomorrow I`m gonna play again and update this post, thank you mates!

hope this is considered and improved.

 

About loot filter, i don't really understand why is there even a price for using it... i really don't get the point. this is completely irrelavant ammount of gold drain and it could be placed in f10 menu for everyone, for free, forever. also the fact it has a fee makes it likely impossible to be used by the players that needs it the most: low level players.

 

And if you think about it abit more, WHY we even need loot filter to begin with? > because mobs drops alot useless stufff. ok, then i ask myself what is REALLY needed? loot filter existance or monster drops to be improved? here follows some personal suggestions nobody ever asked for it:

• Drastically reduce gold drop ratio from mobs and make it drop packs of 500k 1kk 2kk 5kk (overall same ammout of gold over time, but without visual pollution and also packed in a relevant ammount of gold which is welcome for any player).
• Same applies for potions, potions overall drop rate can be reduced by 90% and make it always drop in x10 x15 x20 packs to compensate lower drop rates.
• About cores, it can drop semi-frequentely (5% chance every mob) but it must disappear much much faster to avoid accumulation, let's say it disappears faster because it's made of paper which is much less resistant than gold and items. 

 

Also i think loot filter must not only hide useless stuff but also englance filtered items with built-in flag system, even with some default smart configs:

• Always englance player-class speced gears of higher level than the ones player is currently wearing
• Always englance overall speced gears with all status 80%+ close to perfection
• Always englance potions player is about to run out of it
• Always englance ether cores when player doesn't have any on it's inventory
• Always englance other high value stuff

Also monster must never drop gears with lower level than the map the mob belongs to, it's just better if all mob drops it's correct gear level range, according to map's level (the other day i see someone talking about this in another topic). Even in the end game this can help mainting lowe tiers item prices over time and avoid some maps to be abandoned... 🙂

Day 2

 

Here we go again Mates! I appreciate your reply, this is gonna be interesting 🙌

 

4# report: Level 35 I went to Cursed Land, more quests which is helping a lot (money), there was not challenge because I didn't even use any life pot, every mob was taking me 1 of damage. Again, the drops were pretty good (despite the items polluting my screen), I was dropping items 3x and mana pot started to appear more frequently.

Around 15 minutes I reached level 45, at this point my skills doesn't have much utility even though using every time the percentage was like 25%...

 

Notes: the Staff could easily put more damage on monsters in this map (in on at, I'm bad using prepositions), even my items 2x in map 3x I was not taking damage, I was surrounded by 5-8 enemies and there was not challenge at all...

 

Doubts: I Saw 3 items and just one I could pick up, Poison capsule (mix with care), does anyone could explain?

Swirl Lolly and Love lolly I was not allowed to pick up because just female class can, if I'm not wrong, this is a buff life right? I haven't seen yet a lolly that a male class could pick up, I don't know in high level, but honestly at the moment genre to pick up lolly doesn't make sense for me.

 

5# report: Coming back to Ricarten to update my skills, Navisko I could buy more items and go to Oasis to get some levels and do quests as well. Suddenly I realized that the Lolly are items from Valentines day event hahahaha, Damn I totally forgot, my wife is gonna be p*ssed off with me, at least I have got 2 love sword and its probably will get me some money 😃.

Oasis was not a challenge, again taking me 1 of damage, just the headcutter is an exception here taking me 10 of life, this enemy was a nightmare when I used to play several years ago, the whole party ran towards him because the damage could take your half life bar and could drop a murky 🤩 (super rare).

 

Notes: As a new player, I'm passing through super fast in these maps (15 minute each map), and I`m missing sheltons like raident, transparo and murky to create forces, have not dropped yet. Perhaps a bit of boost drop rate should be good, or even drop forces like raident, spark, transparo for a new players is pretty cool.

 

 

6# report: Reached level 55, my skill Spark level 10 but is 21% there is no utility yet 😪. Heading Ancient prison 2F to do a quest and was able to reach level 59 and in 10 minutes I could pick up my firsts raident to create force sheltons. In this map I could met again an really annoying enemy, the spider, many times dead in the past because of her but not now, at least here the mob damage was OK. I got my first KK  (still far from able to buy loot filter).

 

Notes: 4 levels and my skills got just 2%, my suggestion here is improve a bit to reach 100% faster, at least 2 times more faster, if you think high level can buy a stone to get 100%, but new player cant, it will be more comfortable for new players, considering that I`m almost 6x and my skills are useless at this point (because of the delay and not damage, just to be clear).

 

 

7# report: Next map Forbidden land, I should say, here was a challenge for me and got me the same feeling that I had when was playing when a child, I had to use several life pots, specially when the boss appeared, I could reach level 65, drop rate perfect, my first murky, items 4x, best map by this point, but my screen still polluted with so many items on the ground. I found some chocolates and I cant use, but I got it, we have do share with the opposite genre.

 

Notes: Nothing to say here, all good and nostalgic.

 

8# report: Finally got the quest who is about Gathering, butttt each equipment cost 569k, and for a new player its a lot, I'm level 65 and I have just 1.7kk, I'm gonna pass for a while because I don't know how much will me cost items further and I`m saving money to buy a loot filter. Level 71 reached on Sanctuary of Darkness, the things are getting harder even for a mechanic, I cant Imagine If I were an Archer or Atalanta 😯.

 

Notes: Readjust the value of equipment for gathering, lets think together, to able to use, you need to be level 25, but because of the price I`ll probably buy when 8x or 9x, not much sense here right? if it cost like 100k each, or as a reward I could have been gathering since 3x.

My god, I know that I`m talking and talking a lot about loot filter, but I gave up to pick up items from the ground unless is something really useful because is to much work to pick up something specific...Please, readjust the price, or perhaps give one loot filter as reward.

Day 3

 

Hello Guyz!

 

I`m here to play a couple of hours, my target is level 85, lets see how it goes 😃

 

9# Report: At the moment I`m level 71 so fair enough going to Shadow Sanctuary which opens level 70, even my spark skill is not 100%, 36% actually, few hulk crystals were purchased, transparo shelton in my pocket. I went toward to HS and summoned 10 hulk crystals, even using my ABS and DEF skills I could not stand up for more than 4 minutes, the mobs there are so overpowered that I run out of life pots and realized that I had to levelling in Dark Sanctuary for at least level 75. Going to Ricarten to update my skills I went do DS to reach level 75, was easy now, in 15 minutes I reached what I wanted. Remembering that in Atlantis there is a NPC who sell items 7x and 8x, Updating my whole gear to level 75 and I should say, the value of items was very fair for a new player, I`m not sure but I spent like 600k I reckon.

 

Notes: My suggestion is adjust the damage of mobs in Shadow Sanctuary, I`m a mechanic and my skills add around 30 ABS and even using shield I was suffering, If I were a Pikeman, Archer or any other class who doesn't have Def skill, it probably will possible just in lvl 80 or more to levelling there...

 

 

10# report: With my new items level 75, was a challenge but I could reach level 80 with no big problems levelling in Shadow Sanctuary, now 2 quests are available and will me provide enough money to buy a Loot filter (finally). The first quest I had to kill 3 bosses, in mystery forest 1, 2 and 3, I could find to complete the task, here I had enough money to buy a loot filter. The next quest, kill 5 Ratoos but I took the opportunity to get level 85 in Cursed temple 2F, was OK for a mechanic (actually better than Shadow Sanctuary), I got some murkys and transparos, I`m starting to think about mix my gears, at least my weapon and my armor/shield.

 

Notes: Cursed temple 2F is a good map, pretty equilibrated (drop rates and damage), nothing more to say here.

Using loot filter looks like other game, really, pretty much clean and comfortable to pick up items, it should have been acquired earlier for a new player.

 

11# report: level 85 2 quests are available again, and yes I now, I said that I was just playing to reach level 85, but I saw one quest who will give me 2m exp, specifically in Atlantis, I had to find a prison key, was easy I just had to walk around the city to find... when I delivered the key, from level 85 I levelled up to level 89 😯, after that I thought, just one more level to reach 90 right? why not? 😆

Twenty minutes after, level 90 was reached, more time than I expected, at least levelling in Iron 2 was Ok for me (despite the low exping), it shows me that in Shadow Sanctuary definitely needs an adjustment in damage because I was using the same items and In SS was really difficult for me...

 

Notes: That quest who gave me 2m exp was a good surprise, but it makes me afraid because there is a lack between level 85 to lvl 89, the exping is not smooth and linear, level 85 is ok, but when I got level 89 it took me more time to do 1 level than 5 when I was levelling 80-85, maybe if you transfer a part of that 2m to other quests perhaps in level 80, should be a good idea to transition become smoother 🙂

 

 

Well, that is it for today Guyz, almost 3 hours again and I hope you are enjoying this journey, you all have had overcame that episode, but probably a long time ago, and a lot of things are different now, and I`m sure it can be better and more satisfying 🙌

I’m a returning player also, I played ePT back in the early 2000s and I just love this game so much 💗 I’m usually on my PRS (Lunaresse or Jinxie) if you see me don’t hesitate to chat! Exactly, that's reason I have suggested to improve and become a bit easier to reach 100%, there's no condition to a new player buy that stone, some initial maps you can drop stone who give you 5%, but levelling is so fast that you can drop 2 or 3 max and it not helps unless the staff improve the drop rate for this item or perhaps change for the 10% stone...

 

I got my skill 100% when I reached just level 90, too late I reckon, specially when you are new in this server, don't have knowledge about class and skills and needs to try different builds (was not my case), you will probably reach level 100 and your skill wont be 100%, in my thinking it needs to be a bit faster to get 100%.

 

I'm not playing this week Guyz, its been a flat out week 😪 but on weekend im gonna reach level 100 or even 105 I hope

12# report: Starting from level 90 we have 2 quests and almost 7kk to earn, I could get level 91, my life is becoming better. No more quests to do all I have left is levelling in Iron 2 or Gallubia Valley but I had an unexpected situation, there is no NPC selling items level 84+ in map that I can access, if you look at the website, items 84+ you can buy in Mystery desert 1 (level 95) or in Battle town (level 105).

As a mechanic was a big challenge to get just 1 level in Ice1, around 25 minutes and 5 deaths I could get that level because I bought a Valento crystal, without it I'm pretty sure it would be impossible, again, imagine if I were a Pikeman, Archer etc...

Was a suffering until level 95, after several deaths and 2 hours I could get access the NPC who sell better items in Mystery desert.

 

Notes: There in no access to NPC for items level 84-92, it does not make sense, I died several times in Ice1 because I did not have Items for my level, I reckon that any class except Ks MG MS SS cant levelling there, without boss crystals I'm pretty sure, there is no class who can levelling there. My suggestion is take the Blacksmith Belly in Battle Town and transfer to Eura, he sells items level 84 to 88, it would be a great help for beginners (no one level 105+ is gonna buy items from that npc in battle town).

 

13# report: After that suffering trying to levelling I tried to mix some items witch I dropped in Ice1, like Boot level 80 ms, shield level 84 ms...But until this point I could save just around 8kk because I had to buy some boss crystals and npc items. But the value of mixing is too expensive that It does not worth, for example mixing a boot level 80 it cost me 1.5kk, gauntlets level 75 it cost me 1kk, so if you calculate the price of items, sheltons and the cost to mix its become unfeasible for a new player.

 

Notes: Adjustment to prices of mix, but to not make a mess in game economy, my suggestion would be in items until level 99 to help beginners and introduce this content and make viable to do, if you have not spent your money in crystals (is probably stuck in level 90), you will have around 10kk, to mix your set level 84-88 at least 3 items (shield, armor and weapon), around 500k each item is fair enough right? More than this is just waste money in my opinion.

I have forgotten to mention:

 

Notes 2: Guardian Saint crystals is frequently being dropped since Oasis map and I joined in a random clan to summon this guy but he is too weak now, it is a special Monster and just members of clan can summon, besides it is possible summon just one per time, so why not improve a bit more to help our levelling? In Iron2 he died in 1 minute and the time crystal is around 9 or 10 (depend your level). Make his great again! Below is the description from this website about the crystal.

 

The Guardian Saint is a strong monster crystal, specially made for clans. To use this crystal you must be at least level 50 and a member of a clan. The Guardian Saint has many different skills, from area damage skills to one on one skills. Only clan members of the summoned clan Guardian Saint can "heal" the Guardian Saint. During boss hour this Crystal will summon a Guardian King.

Oh, I'm not too sure, but I'm using the website to guide me and I have not seen anywhere.

I have just checked, there is no NPC selling items 82+ in Atlantis, just in Battle Town but the access is just level 105 and Mystery Desert 1 level 95
