Is it really all it's cracked up to be? Does it absolutely need to be lvl 10?

 

I have a 124 mage, I ask this question because I had heard before that zenith isn't needed, and in my boredom, I see that people are saying to put zenith to 10.

Zenith is great in ice maps...

While people are frozen, you're ok... Try Hunting valento with mage and other char.

 

It's said it helps on PvP aswell but I don't like PvP so I don't know.

 

Besides, if you aren't going to put Zenith 10, what skill we'll you increase?

Right now I have Mental Mastery at 10 as well. I have 5 SP remaining. But I was thinking about re-doing my skills.

 

I don't really hunt in the ice maps, I hunt in ET3. Will Zenith help me at all there?

The point in Zenith is that it add elemental resistance.This means that u'll take less DMG with the attacks of the moobs attacks based in elements, so all.

The point is that we don't know how the attacks are affected by the elements, then we can't say accurately how much DMG we can resist with this, but just think all moobs skills have some element for example, Xetan have fire elements*, you can see this when he attack you, then you obviously will take less dmg that could take without, but as I said I can't say how much, it's hidden attributes.

 

Since, the elemental parts of PT wasn't finished to be developed I guess that it will works (properly) with the newbie maps and moobs. I really don't believe that Wartale fix or finished to develop this, so in fact IF these attributes and defense against it, is working it's working due to copy+paste in the game files. lol

 

I know that Wartale tried to do something with this or search more about it, but as far I know were in the char's skills not in the moobs.

 

But, I'd suggest you go for it set this in level 10, based on my tests usually I get less DMG when I'm using this, buuuut isn't a huge difference.

 

* It was changed a few weeks ago, I really don't believe that Xetan's skill are really based on fire attribute.

Zenith can help yes! But your help is insignificant. I

auditioned and really not worth letting it lv 10.

 

My suggestion is that this attribute be improved to have

a purpose to let it lv 10.

 

When a magic of mech is upgrade, we see that there

is difference.

 

Zenith is insignficante, and it saddens me because I'm a

magician.

 

Another thing I grieve to know that the magician has

magic dmg + 200% with ghost, and that to me is also

insignificant.

 

I see pris killing more who magicians! I see pris making

more gold in sod! I see the pris dominating spaw up! ...

etc, etc, etc ...

 

when I read the descriptions of the characters on the

site I stop to think ...

 

is that right?

 

The priis is much more magician.

 

Mage:

 

"Their spiritual abilites are very powerful and Their

Powerful spells prove it. They prefer using destructive

magic over any other type. They use the armor robes and

wands the weapons."

 

Pris:

 

They are pure and the holy people, and the sacred They

work all the time. They always help other people and have

strong faith. Their main armor Consists of robes, and

Their Mainly weapons are Staves or Wands. They Both are

usually slender and agile.

 

it really does not. The magician has a destructive power

that big. And the pris became a killing machine (and this

is great, but the bad thing is that the forgotten

magician, and that his focus is the destruction with high

damage area.)

 

 

I think they should raise this issue. The pris help members of party with buff and spells's also has a lot damage in the area.

 

The magician is not so good. He is not a char of help, and thinking at this point it should be much more independent and powerful than it is.

The problem is than you're comparing a t5 skill with a t3 skill.

 

Wait for stone spike be released.Try to ''balance'' the AoE point now, it's senseless.

The priis is much more magician.

 

It goes both ways, I would argue mage has more support than a prs. Between distortion, execration [t5], the planned enchant weapon [better than DF], and magic source, the mage has multiple ways to support the party. While mage is supposed to be the damage dealer, they also will have two very strong debuffs, which I think falls under support. Prs has its heals, but instant potions have made that a lost art. VL is nice but its also lost a lot of its importance with the hidden attributes gone.

 

Somewhere down the line, role reversal went on and it needs to be fixed imo. Hopefully they balance mage/prs back to where they're supposed to be after they unlock t5.

Well, there's my opinion as of now:

 

About Zenith, unless there's an elemental monster, it's useless. The only elements clearly defined we see in monsters are ice and fire. So I wonder where we see elemental monsters currently...

For PvP, we need to know which enemy's skills deal elemental damage. I don't really see much. Only the mage's elemental sword and enchant weapon (if worked).

 

About the mage role, Yes, I think they should be Damage dealers, not tank, nor AoE Damage, neither support, but Damage dealers in every area, with weak armor.

 

Another point. Distortion and excration look more like crowd control skills, rather than  support. Also Excration affects only one single target, so, it won't really count for the team, but much more for the mage himself.

my real opinion.

 

Zenith is now ridiculous. Just compare the magic of the mage with the magic of the mech. Both are the first tier. (Zenith of the magician, and Absorption of mech ...) Do the tests, while Zenith does not help you on virtually anything on lv 10, the magic of the mech makes you tank mobs of your level with only the magic at level 10 (not to mention that with the tier 3 armor thorny you put lv 10 and get 200% of tier 1 spell automatically ...)

 

mage is dramatically precarious. He has a very ridiculous damage in high lv . The area has more Pris and damage that the mage. The wizard does not tanking right, or tanka and loses a lot of mana.

 

Magician for me is my main character, but I think he needs to improve quite yet.

I use zenith lvl 10 + SE lvl 10 + green bubble lvl 10 and I can tank ice 1 HS like a mechanician. And kill better than one!

in pvp pikes make ice to me and it affects like 0,5 secs, same than Roar of Fs.

 

+1 on Zenith in PVP
