When can i hunt my own gear?

I'm a 76 Knight atm and it's a bit frustrating only finding 4-5x gear when i'm Exping in DS or CT.

 

Do i really have to wait until 9x to get to the Hunting maps before i can start finding drops for myself?

No, iron 1 and iron 2 drop sometime 7x for grotesque and even 8x for iron guard.

 

But the best 7x 8x drops rate are in 9x maps like ice 1...

For armor tales armor (the 500k one) is better than lvl 75 armor. At lvl 80 go get yourself a dark gaia armor, your lvl 80 quest armor, and those will last you till lvl 100. As for Weapons if u can't drop them just buy from npcs at Atlantis. If you out grow those go to battletown.

Go through Atlantis to the Battle Port guy. he is by the warehouse in Atlantis

 

I think u can buy 9x gear in shops in battle town

Good 8x or 9x gears but you need to get to Atlantis before you can teleport to battle town. Sadly, atlantis teleport core aren't in ricarten and philai shops... So you need a player selling them or begging gm to add them to the shops  ;D

he is not lvl 100 yet so he can use the Old Wise Man to get to Atlantis with no quest

I understood what you said, I was just pointing out the Old Wise Man just in case he thought he had to have a core to get to Atlantis

Yep, but since he isn't 100 he can't use the old wise man so he need an atlantis core. And what's the point of being 100 and going to battle town to buy 9x gear since he could buy 100 gear from other players.

You can use the Old Wise Man as much as you want until lvl 100

 

at lvl 100 you need to do the quest before he will teleport you again
