So, that sucks. Who in the freaking hell would want to take damage for OTHERS when he's already taking damage by himself? Plus, it takes Maximize/Metal Armor place. Pretty awesome, huh? Not enough take extra damage, you're going to tank less and kill nothing. No PvE testing so far. But just by the fact it replaces Max/MA I can stat it's useless too. The initial damage on a party member is first reduced by their own absorb (and potentially missed by defense/block/evade). The final damage (lets say its 100) on the party member is then split into 60% for the mech (60), and 40% for the party member (40). The HP of the party member is then reduced by 40. 20% of the 60 damage is then absorbed (12), leaves 48 damage. The HP of the mech is then reduced by 48. As you can see the mech doesn't use his any of his stats to reduce that damage. I could make the 20% absorb also work on any other damage that the mechanician receives, not just reflected gravitation damage, to make it more useful for solo mechs. QMan 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 2 post from Wartale on my view final dmg = hp decreased in PVE (not hunt Boss or SOD) it can useful for help protect friend from mob(give friend 20% absorb dmg) and mech will use pot same friend party(got 12% dmg each from 5 member) if final dmg in pve = 100 mech got 60 dmg add from party assume it's 60 dmg per second.. mech from no pot--> to mech pot with around 60 dmg/sec and when skill T5 divine force come(give a lot defense same old VL) party dont need this skill anymore, it go to useless skill T5 for mechanician... now can use help friend, but not help mech and in the future were replace by divine force prs T5... in PVE(hunt Boss) if boss have group dmg skill final dmg around 500 hp 5 member give mech dmg = 5*(100-60) = 200 if mech tank boss too total mech HP decreased around 500+200 if u play for party go tanker all stat to HP can tank and support press pot in backdoor no more for mech dmg dealer..and u dont got any item for hunt Boss, recommend or not? in PVP assume dmg same hunt Boss in BC mech Gravity only run and pot pot pot if u love friend party and fun in that mech(pot pot pot) go Gravity for me if this skill only for group play will make friend group ability and make negative benefit for mech... srekcusybdetum 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2011 Whatever, I'm not taking this skill at all. I don't mind how much will be the damage reduction, if 20% or 60% absorbed. I barely take damage from 90% of the mobs of this server, but now I will if whoever in my party can't tank them as I can. I still can use Compulsion and tank them all by myself taking no damage at all. I'm not a supporter. This skill don't take any of mech stats, just deliver the damage others take right to their HP. I'm a power/tanker hibrid build and i always use it, becouse it helps my party mates and the damage i take doesnt make any difference for me since i'm using Boss 1 set bom, this damage is completly covered by its regen. Some ppl can complaint about it, but its helpfull to everyone and its the only skill we can use from T5. Of course as soon as obliterate and Trine Shield gets on everyone will take gravitation off, but since then c'mon... go for gravitation and help teammates if you can tank a little bit.
