reivmc003 0 Posted December 25, 2025 (edited) Like the title of the topic, i've to ask about the situation i readed on a bug report that 1 guy and his wife, play the Babel together and his wife got warning that she can't roll the loot I know we're had a lot of situation about scaming people, but this is 2 physical devices, how do it can work like that, by ban a member in the family can not play the game together with her husband ? The GM don't answer correctly the question but closed the topic, unless keep saying about IP and LAN IP, say nothing about why this bro can not roll So i can not ask anymore. Read the original here. sansiro 169 Posted December 25, 2025 It's considered fair for everyone. Each IP address can only have one roll. Without that limit, someone could easily take advantage. What would happen if someone used an internet cafe and logged in with multiple accounts at once to roll for the boss? Clearly, it puts someone with only one computer at a significant disadvantage. Are you actively doing bosses these days? Because what’s been happening the most now is players using virtual machines to have a higher chance on the roll, including a fatal player using 9 accounts
lelejau 58 Posted December 25, 2025 Why don't you do the same thing instead of whining? I don't understand.
reivmc003 0 Posted December 26, 2025 (edited) Calm down, guys, today's topic is not about those bastards using VMs. Today's topic is about a young couple playing a game together, and only one of them can go hunting for bosses, just because the server recognizes they are using the same network - regardless of the fact that they are actually using two different physical computers. The assumption that someone could afford to buy 10-20 PCs, or that they could rent out an entire internet café to set up machines, it's just fine; the GM just needs to understand "that's one PC playing the game." Why should they care whether those two physical machines (emphasizing: physical, not VMs) are being used by one user or two users? Don't tell me they can't identify that; from what I've learned, there're always have a solution to reconigze this is VM or physical machines. I only see that they are too rigid in focusing solely on the idea that "multiple accounts on one IP address = ban," without having a more comprehensive and reasonable perspective. If someone has enough money to buy or rent multiple physical machines - let them do it, that is their right in a social context. From a gaming perspective, the GM should only need to know that it is one physical machine = okay. Not to mention the fact that this is a game with not many players; as long as there are many physical machines participating, just understand that it is multiplayer, and don't worry about whether there is a real person behind those machines or not. They should focus on: repetitive actions, or making the boss harder, at least so that it is impossible to take your hands off to control 2 or 3 PCs at the same time (Centlon is doing playe well in this regard; even when I playing the KS, I can't stop looking at the screen for more than 5 seconds) instead of worrying about things that are not within their authority. I already make a chat with this coupler, it's so sad when hearing the wife only can go arround map EXP, or gathering something, when her husband hunting boss game is for fun, how they can be treat like that ? Yet, in the meantime, they are still dreaming about making an event for Valentine's Day with a ring that increases attack power by 25% when two characters are close to each other. But they separate the couple so they cannot enjoy the moment of hunting bosses together, having fun when one of them rolls an rf, for example. It's really ridiculous.
