thanks for the clarification. can you explain to me why GM doesn't SUPPORT account trading? i dont think we need to argue on this, we all know that account trading and exp serv isnt good for the game right? if you think yes, how so? is it fair?

First of all, if you havent been trading accounts before. Let me explain.

 

Go to the Account Section under ("Support")

 

You see a handful of people saying hacked. These people get there Accounts recovered character, and received a private message from the admin, obviously they going to say due to we dont support account trading and trading your account at your own risk blah blah. But you will recover your account naked. However, I do believe some people are crying like hell and do get some items back with screenshots

 

I reiterate my message, they allow account trading but just doesn't support, intuitively they just don't have that much time to recover that person items.

 

E.g you full gear, weapon, shield, gaunts, brac, boots, DGS, vrings, blah blah, other items in warehouse

 

They will have to trace items if they get changed hands, or recover them by screenshots etc

 

This is waste of resources and the admin just don't have so much time to be a intermediary of this kind of trading.

 

What is fair?

 

Nothing is fair, in a donated server, people who are willing to donate more are richer and stronger, people who can't donate will have to hunt and level hours and hours.

 

If you want a better fair game, I suggest you to play strategy game, starcraft 2, where you start with 0 and battle throughout the game, that why korean players like to play broodwar and the hype of the game says it all, with competitions, teams SKT, KT Rolster, Samsung KHAN etc, where true skills matters and worthwhile.

 

MMORPG game, can be traced to games such as diablo, selling items on ebay, selling accounts, trading, buying gold with real money, account farming. All of this started long time ago.

 

The only question you would seek, how can it be more "fair"?

 

We stopped exper from auto attacking monsters/characters, and other stuff. Which I'll say its already good enough for this 10 year old game

I made use of xp service, I'm thinking of getting it soon. And still I'd be more than happy to see xp service go entirely. When xp service becomes impossible to do, I'll finally have my friends back to xp with me. We'll finally play together again, even though forcefully.. even though it sounds kinda sad.

people have to learn how to do gold/coins ingame an use it (if dont wanna spend real money here

 

i just save some gold / coins and use a xper to up my char by the time she/he´s uping my char, im making more gold/coins to pay more xp service..

 

gm can check my recently donation list, it´s just for clanmates... i spend just a few Real Money in the game (Maybe 10 euros per month)

 

but in the other hand, i do gold/coins doing what i like to do (Hunting!)

 

Exp Service, isnt the problem, the problem is the difference of purchasing power, people who dont make any different to they´re lifes if he/she spend 1000 euros or more doing donations...

 

my self, i dont have enought money to spend in a game, but we´ll know people (UAE most of them) that are rich people, and dont mind spending alot

To start with, I will say this: I hate expers BUT I uses their service too... REASON??? eg: taking up normal players spaces, and this and that... I don't think i need to explain it anymore because you can read it all from previous comments from other players...  ;D

 

Solution???? Maybe there should be exper's maps with feature of leeching, afk, and all other features that will help exper to do their service FAST, and so they can fighter over the training spots with another expers, fair?

 

At the same time, normal maps are for normal players. So we can interact, party, ks (ooops), training, having FUN, and enjoy the exp in maps that our lvl suppose to be. How is that sound?

I donated 100 euro's here and that is my max, bought à account sold it with profit, bought à new 1, traded it traded it again, hunted items, and now I got à Priest 133, oke equipped not really that good.

Playing here now 3 months.

 

SO you can do all THE stuff with out donating really, but i didn't want  start from scratch.

 

But Good way to make money is having à 128 char to go to ice mine, Armor 124 was 4k coins 2 Weeks ago.

That is à 124 char naked just by hunting 1 item, was SO easy;).

 

Btw à Good character 132 isn't that much weaker then 138.....

In THE end its all About items, and 124 items is also obtainable by evry1 now also people that dont play that much.

GMs & Admins, they have some reasons to assign what we can do and we could not

do here. Of course, donation is for running this server. If GM did not sold XP service,

they will lost some profit.

 

And why GMs allow other people to sell XP service? Please imagine:

 

After you (named A) up to 130, it is boring to up level. You train so many days with

more than 10 hours/day, but the XP percent was increased too slow. Then you quit

RPT and enter another game online. And later, can GMs hope to get money from

A in the future ? He already spent time in another game online and will not back to

RPT because it is so boring !

 

If A decide to buy XP service, his character can grow up faster than when he do by himself.

Then A still interest with RPT, then he perhaps can buy donation (he can pay money

to XP service so maybe he can accept to pay in coin shop list).

 

In the other hand, you think it is unfair with rich people (who has a lot of real money)

when they buy XP service, but why you don't say: it is also unfair while a few

people can buy easy items 124 +20 donate (they also don't play anything as you said),

compare with most people are hunting at et3, ice mine,... everyday and they get nothing?

I'm not fond of exp service myself but there's isn't really a good way to "block" it. That is why we choose not to support it.

I agreed with what PaynEeE had said, if player know how to many gold and coins in game, it is as good as taking gold or coins from donators

 

I spent about 20eu so far from started (about 4mths now) n I had bought exp service 120 - 130 ( from time to time) n all other items weapon, shield, vrings and so on. Plus I atill have about 4000+ coins in my acc and 2GBs + all from 20eu!!!!

 

Having said that it isn't that easy to earn from buy and sell n trade as it used to be, because some noobs want to sell fast with a lose to make gold or their just purely retard in calulation. Eg: purple skill 9kk but some noobs decided to sell it for 6.5kk or some time even lower.

 

Anyway, they have rights to sell at any price that they like, there is nothing I can do. Just hope one day they would come to their realization and be smart!!!

 

So ya~~~ we can't change the system , its only take it or leave it. Or be creative in what u have and make useful of it

Screw everyone who says they put little money on it and make it become millions. I'm from the time games were made to play, made by players. And I seriously miss those times. Nowadays we got tons of people jerking off of their "proness" and they don't even have the slightest notion of what to do when training a char.

 

This crap went too far. I had hopewtwould never become the same shit dominated by money that uPT was. Unfortunatelly it's on the same way... but seems there's no worries for the players anymore, right? As long as other players keep coming and putting their money in it.

Boycotting donations won't happen...

The loyalty and commitment of most of the players on the server won't expand that far, I'm sure you've seen the "Boycot BC" thread, most of the people that went on there didn't last a week.

This is how the server is, it's gone too far now and it most likely won't change from the situation it's in.

 

Sorry to sound pessimistic, but I think I'm being realistic. :\
