How to calculate damage dealt on others (in PvP)?

Recommended Posts

Lets say my deathray has 2500 max damage, my atk rating is 2800 and the opponent has 3200 def, 200 abs and 1000 HP. How much damage does he take (how much HP does he lose) if my max damage doesn't miss (passing through his block/evasion chance) ?

In my experience, I believe the PvP damage is /2 or /3. That means around 800-1200 if you have 2500 max damage, and after going through absorb, it should be in the range 600-1000 damage. Not sure it is correct or not but our damage is significantly reduce in PvP, and this is the best I can come up with. The attack rate and defense rate only affect hit chance of the skill, for this I am sure.

If you have a mage, would you like to test with me ? After maintenance ok ?

I thought absorb made no difference in pvp, only defense. That could have been on the other private I played in the past though...

the damage is /5

so you attack power is 500 - the Abs=300

Is it really /5 ? Because he usually only need 2-3 hit kill someone with 200 abs and 1200 HP. 300 for max damage is really weak because we also have min damage.

Oh amplify increase 138% in final damage, i forgot that

500X 2,38=1190-200=990

Maybe absorb has a different use in PvP or defence lowers the incoming damage too ::)

Defense only make the attack miss. We should try to find the correct way to calculate this. Fruros (the one who create this topic) actually hit me for around 350-450 with his max damage deathray being 2k5. So I think best divided number is 4 since 2500/4 = 625. 625-200 abs = 425.

and amplify?it should increase +138% in final damage and a mage with 1500 damage in Death Ray hava a damage of  +-500
