muzzy 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2013 1. If i have 100 absorb and I caste level 10 muspell, then do I have 150 absorb against undead? 2. If a monster has 100 out of 200 health (50% health) and I caste level 10 extinction, then will that monster have 12 out of 200 health (loss of 44% health)? 3. Can extinction work several times on the same undead monster?
dangthien 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2013 1. No it not work that way, it work much better than that. So just cast Muspell. 2 and 3. It's lose 44 HP, not 88 HP. It can be used multiple time on the same monster, you can test this yourself on lost island... Why bother asking ?

Marçal 1 Report post Posted July 9, 2013 1- It absorbs 50% of the und's damage, not add absorption. (I GUESS THAT, I'M NOT SURE ABOUT IT ) 2- Ext removes 44% hp on the ACTUAL hp of the mob. 3- Yes, it can.

You can test it anytime without jumping in to any risk so why bother asking ? Unless you can't figure out a way to test it, you should ask. But what you asking can be done by such a simple test by casting 2 extinction on a same Undead Monster...
Crius 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2013 Muspell reduces damage from the monster by half. This is before your absorb reduces it. So if you have 50 absorb and fight an undead with 200 damage, you'll take 200 - 50 = 150 damage without Muspell, and 200 * 0.5 - 50 = 50 damage with Muspell. Extinction has been answered, but yes, you can use it multiple times and it is based on current HP, not max, of the monster.
