Gravitation question

Hello, just somebody can help me with a simple question...should be a interessanting question for all mechs that dont know how the skill works cause in the description isnt much clear.

About gravitation...how it works?

Gravitation

Level Damage Reflected Damage Absorbed Area

1 5%   2% 210

2 10% 4% 220

3 15% 6% 230

4 20% 8% 240

5 25% 10% 250

6 30% 12% 260

7 35% 14% 270

8 40% 16% 280

9 45% 18% 290

10  50% 20%  300

20% -> dmg of party Ok!

50% reflected* ??? it does a add abs for mech it self?

And if give some abs if works without party?help

Thanks.

Att.Fire/ThunderIMp(my mech)

For the record, I haven't even looked at this skill for over a year and a half, but if I remember correctly, this is how it works:

Party member is hit by a monster. Damage is reduced by the party members absorb value. If Gravitation is active, the damage is then reduced by the "Damage Reflected" value. This removed damage is applied to the mech, and is further reduced by the "Damage Absorbed" value.

Or, expressed mathematically:

D - Monster damage

A - Party member absorb

Gr - Gravitation reflection (%)

Ga - Gravitation absorb (%)

Party member damage: (D - A) * (1 - Gr)

Mech damage: (D - A) * Gr * (1 - Ga)

So if a party member gets hits for 100 damage after absorb has reduced it, a L10 Gravitation will make the party member take 50 damage and the mech take 40 damage.

gravitation can kill you faster than the mobs that attacking you.

for example: if one mob hit you, you'll take 0 dmg, but if it hit your pt member and he take 100 dmg you'll absorb 20dmg.

it seems is a complete suport skill,in the end "it gives Abs for all party members"

Thanks, will be very useful cause i want invest this skill to lv 10

It all depends on the absorb of your ally. You have much abs and thats why the mobs deal less dmg to you, but your ally has lower abs and the mobs are dealing high dmg to him. If you absorb that dmg it won't be affected by your absorb and you will die. I tested it before when me and Professional were lvling in md3.
