HG - client tweaking for lag reduction and FPS optimization

Hello, people. It's been not long that I found myself level 120 and a regular participant of HG matches. Something that happens to me and I've noticed that also happens to almost everyone else who participate is the drastic lag increased and FPS (fraps per second) decreased. Some of my clannies comment about some people making legal client tweakings like reducing graphic quality bellow the minimum adjustable directly from the 'settings' menu in-game and making a special folder to have this tweaked game client placed on, deleting animation and some skill effects from it.

 

Could someone explain to me how is this done? How to adjust graphic quality to be the lowest and what files can I delete in the game folder to achieve the maximum possible performance during HG experience?
