No, you're calculating wrong.

Example:

If you have a weapon with 105-125 damage, and have 900-1200 base damage, when you use Maximize your attack will be 900-1287, because is 70% of the max. damage of your weapon, not 70% of your total max. damage.

well that Socks, so it's pointless using maximize if there is not to much power to add, what's the point of using it?

Maximize is useless..........

I think:

1. Tanker mech with spark

2. automech with bow.....:D

Not really useless, If u have weapon with high age (exp :150 max dam), this will add u 105 to max dam,

(~ 80 -90 str adding to get that amount of max dam). This skill is useful in PvP because u kill people base on your max dam + critical

and with Maximize buff, mech become very dangerous. In PvE, yeah this skill seem useless.

Yep.

In PvE this skill turns useless because automech build have more atk power/speed than power mech, but when Precision' skill wasn't released power mech + maximize was a good build for hunt too :P

Back in time, Maximize added your total Max Attack Damage as a hidden effect.

It always showed only the calculated Weapon Max Damage increase in the menu, but in truth it  added as a hidden effect, your total max damage.

Ex:

You have a 80-100 weapon and 800~1000 total min/max damage, in the menu it showed 800~1070, but the true damage was is 800~1700. (hidden)

If I remember well, the reason Maximize was reduced to 70%, was this hidden effect. When Mechs had 100% maximize, they were 1hit killing people with talons + shield at pure random basis (most of time the damage was low, but all of sudden, the damage was ultra high, because of Critical + random selected high value)

The hidden effect was removed? When? I've read all the patchnotes since i left the game, none of these said it was removed.
