wanna 14 Report post Posted March 17, 2014 I'm still new on this server so I'm trying to figure things out as I go, and I had a question about weapon scaling. I was playing on another serv just to test things out and each weapon scaled up considerably in damage. say lvl 80 weap was 100-150 dmg, the next item at 85 was 150-200, so you ended up with a considerable damage boost with each weapon tier. On this server you get so little boost between tiers: relic staff (84) :28-38 dragon staff (88): 32-42 So a new tier gives you a +4 dmg boost in between a new tier. That's unmixed and unaged ofc So overall your damage scales up linearly and very slowly On the other hand the mobs hp scales up a lot faster mobs lvl 70 have about 2k hp. Mobs in lvl 80 around 4k, so every 10 levels they double their hp but your damage barely goes up. This makes it feel as if you hit a brick wall at a certain level because things die so slowly. Is there a reason why the weapons scale so poorly between tiers? EDIT: had another question about a diff topic, thought I'd add it here. Why is it the mobs drop 3 piles of gold? Why not condense it to just 1 big pile, so our screens aren't filed with gold and you have to kill your mouse just to get them all. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
