Why cant the priest PVP?

I'm new in this server, wich is very different from the original, so im still getting used to this priest. I was lvl 100 and just wanted to see how my build was doing, so i asked my friend to tank my vigor balls in pvp and then for him to try to kill me, to see how much damage I could take and do. My friend was a mage also lvl 100. I basically destroied his HP bar, and with Glacial Spike he couldnt pot, so i killed him pretty fast. Also when he tried to kill me, with vl lvl 10 and muspell lvl 10, even with distortion, i just didnt die. And he was a good mage.

My build was:

str for staff

tal for robe

agi base

spirit 3xx

health 150

muspell 10 mana regen 10 vb 10 vl 10 etc.

So I just wanted to know why is every one saying prs shouldnt pvp if i did so well?

Simple; you are priest.

Priest has low atack. VB damage is higher than other servers, anyway not enough to kill people. Priest role means to be supporters, but i think should be good to get battle priests, maybe with a great improvement of vigor ball ou other skill to face up other classes (like mages with stone spike)

Maybe if they buffed MS it could be viable. After all, is a quick spamable skill and you could invest more points in health, since the damage is based on the staff

As the level rises prs becomes weaker in pvp because the others chars increase their stats a lot more than Prs.

In my opinion it shouldn't be suck a big deal prs being able to kill on pvp

 

mage that usually couldn't kill just tank now can do both on this serve why shouldn't prs too?

i don't think vigor ball should be the best skill i think multi spark is better, less delay and the quickest skill that prs have.

It's good if all characters can have fun in bc, killing and dying.. the problem is people think "prs for this, archer is for that, pike can only do this" etc

Basically prs is the only char who can't have fun on bc, only support , even mages can pvp now, so prs should be at least a "middle" char in pvp (with less attack than melee chars ofc, but enought to at least have some fun in bc )).
