Everyone said pris is betten than mage at high livel, How true is that ?

Hi! I was just wondering if mage its as good as priest for exping/hunt with or without a tanker until 139.

mage is better in pt quests imo because consume less mp and stm, but in counterpart of that, a prs can both kill and vl tanker in ct3 or DI.

 

for solo leveling, mage is better in all exp maps until it reaches 120, in which prs gets better at ad maps, again, in counterpart

 

prs are actually better than mages in clan sodding, but the opposite happens for sod soloing imo

 

prs are top notch undead hunters in di and ice mine, the two maps with highest drop rates, but suck as hell with all the other mobs in which mage covers preety well

 

mages can actualy make a little presence in pvp, but not as much as pvp made classes like ps, fs, ms, as, ata. prs, however, i dont think so.

I have a priest lvl 105 and a mage 92.

priest is overpowered with that skill ice meteorite from tier 5, its animation is FAST AS A HELL, mage animations is very SLOW, so which one you believe does more damage without getting hit? Priest of course, in the time you can clean a hell spawn easily with a priest using that skill, mage got hit and hit without having time to reaction.

solution could be making faster the mage animation for meteorite, its just too SLOW.

Well lets see since prs sucks and mage is op at everything except killing undeads compared to prs i let you decide i got 143 mgs and my friend got 145 prs i hunt better then him i tank better then him i exp faster then him i do sod better then him i pvp better then him but yeah prs is so op......NOT they suck fruits at higher lvls compared to a mgs

the only map prs is better then mage is  ad1/2/3

 

ohters ways..mage just better  , in everything.

 

and about pvp... if u take mage vs any class...both same lvl/same items.  mage most likely win

I have a 146 decent geared priestess and i can say, priestess now isn't too usefull as has before.

 

After the change of SOD, priestess don't do a good score to get near of mages and sometimes you got kicked from room in SOD since you don't kill so fast as they do with Stone Spikes (And i don't understand the whine of this guy about Stone Spike)

 

In PVP, priestess is just a support character (it's fine, that's the job of priestess) and btw a magician with Distortion do a better job doing suport on PVP than priestess, and everyone can get a lvl 80 priestess to vl himself/his allies and clannies

 

In Hunting, if you try kill 1x1 monsters using a crystal you will kill nothing, since the damage of vigor ball is high but isn't enough to kill fast nothing. The best thing you can do is just put all your stats in health and start to walk to hunt undeads and kill them with extinction. At this point, i see mages better than priestess since they have his own pet + have a decent damage with Death Ray and if he can tank the monsters he can kill 2~4 monsters at same time using Stone Spike, and btw he will kill more fast than a priestess using Ice Meteorite.

 

In SOD i can't say anything since i just goes with priestess, i don't know about the dificulty (or if have difficulties) to go SOD with a MGS. But MGS always pwned priestess on SOD after Stone Spike (and that's normal, MGS is supposed to kill more than priestess btw )
