DarkLink64 921 Report post Posted May 5, 2015 Yo, i've read Devlog 8 and, it seems that RPT is going to add 2 different daggers to be used at same time, each with it's own status and properties. The first thing that popped out of my mind - this isn't good. I mean, the ability to use 2 individual weapons is nice and cool, but, what about Aging and Mixes? It seems that Assassins will benefit from 2 Agings or 2 Mixes or 1 Aging + 1 Mix at same time. This can be very dangerous to game balance, and to fix it after, will be really hard. People would complain that they wasted money to build a second weapon, and so on. I can imagine crazy things like +2 Attack Speed with lots of damage, 2 HP mixes, insane high damage with 2 aging... This will be really bad. Not to mention each weapon base status like Spec, block, critical... It will be doubled :T Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Everyone, obviously, thought the same thing when read it at Devlog. But if Wartale posted this idea is because he is studying it, and of course is considering these things. If he test, and see that are impossible to do, then it will be a normal weapon. EASY. So, stop to thought like an old man that prefer listen radio than watch TV just because TV is something new. Null 2 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 We'll add the stats of both daggers and then divide it by 2. Pretty simple. Assuming two +22 high end daggers combined would have damage on pair with most other classes (or a tiny bit higher, seeing as this is an offensive class), having just one +22 dagger and a mixed one will result in much lower damage, regardless of weapon speed or whatever. As for the point that Assassins would have to spend double the money to age/mix their 2 weapons: other classes spend it on shields and 2 handed weapons as well. As for Shaman wearing Orbs: it's good for the economy because it makes orbs more valuable (there's more demand for them). And it doesn't make Shaman any more OP because we haven't even started working on skills or weapon stats yet. Even if these weapons had 200-300 ATK Power, if we give skills a 1% damage boost it won't be of any use. You have to understand that we are not using skill values from any other PT. It's kinda unfair for Sinx, because every melee character can use a 1 handed weapon + shield. But, if it's part of the game design, well, I understand. Rhyax 0 Report post Posted May 6, 2015 so she uses 2 one handed weapons but gets the stats of only one of them ? thats bullshit dude... you should buy and age 2 weps and get only half of the stats its just like using only one weapon but you cant use skills with 1 and you have to buy another one It's like a knight using only 1 handed wep without a shield. If this would be the case, then the cost of aging would be the same, since they will not have any shield and orb. out of the topic: Krika, go to GOF and post there all you want, most of the time your post are non-sense at all.
