Recently there have been a lot of complaints regarding the current PvP Experience formula, and therefore we have decided to review it since it seems to be outdated.

We would like you players to come with your suggestions to a new formula here in this topic. Below you can see the current formula which is rather complex.

You can suggest a completely new formula with a new structure or whatever.

All suggestions are welcome. However, do not start a giant flame war here. Thank you!

The current formula:

If you kill someone 30+ levels higher than you, you get 0 EXP.

If you kill someone 25~29 levels higher than you:
- And if the victim has positive PvP EXP:
  - And if the victim's total PvP EXP value is higher than yours, you get 95 EXP.
  - And if the victim's total PvP EXP value is lower than yours, you get (95-20%) EXP.

If you have a streak of 10 or higher:
- And you kill someone that has a streak of 0 or higher, you will get 100% EXP.
- And you kill someone that has a streak of -9 or higher, you will get 50% EXP.
- And you kill someone that has a streak of -10 or lower, you will get 0% EXP.

If you have a streak of 9 or lower:
- And you kill someone that has a streak of 0 or higher, you will get 100% EXP.

Lets say you are level 130 and kill the following:

- A level 125: You win 10 EXP

- A level 135: You win 10 EXP

- A level 120: You win 15 EXP

I don't see the sense in this?

dont need make if u kill a lots u need to die to get xp again

In my opinion, the current formula is not bad, but it is complicated that's why people complain.

My suggestion is very simple:

xp = Math.min(50, Math.max(1, 30 - (killer_level - killed_level))

For those who didn't understand, you get 30 minus the level difference of your char to who you killed (if you kill someone with a higher level then it will sum). But you never get more than 50, nor less than 1.

And the clan and IP rule should remain unchanged.

I think its pretty good as it is thou exp should only be changed from lvl diff not how many you killed in a row or died in a row if you die you die and if you kill alot you kill alot shouldent hurt or gain the one player who kill/die from you.

More or less as neog said i think simple formula just remove the exp gain/ exp loss you get from killing/deing alot
