Mage build :)

Im gonna make a mage in a couple of mins :P

 

Can anyone give me skills and stat points to go for :) ?

str enough for wand/staff of blaze shield

spr as much as you want or at least enough for robe

tal 77~81 (mgs gear)

agi none or holy boots or full (this last not quite recommended)

hlt as much as you can

 

skills

 

energy shield lvl 4, 6, 8 or 10 (not reco)mmended for the last 2 ones

DIAS 10 ofc

you decide the rest for: mental mastery, death ray and sipirit elemental

 

I would say to try dancing sword and enchant weapon but i dunno if skill balance already take effect fo those

Dias lvl 10

Meteorite lvl 10

Distorcion lvl 10

Death Ray lvl 1 (maybe level 10 if you have 1on1 skill lvl 10)

Energy Shield lvl 10

Spirit Elemental lvl 10

 

T-5 guesses

Magic Source lvl 10

Execration lvl 10

(Maybe Stone Spike lvl 10)

and if you want Amplify lvl 10

 

Find SP's  ;D

Yeah, most of mage skills are useful  :-[

 

Status Build:

Tanker -

Low Strenght, enough to use wand/staff

Enough Spirit to have more than 1k mana (180 is OK)

Enough Talent to use magician itens (Wand/Staff, Robe and Orb [+Defense])

Enough Agility to use lvl 9 Boots

Rest of you points in Health

 

Hunt -

Strenght to have a bigger weith capacity (1500+) and being able to use a shield (+Block)

About 300 Spirit to use a lot of skills and have a better damage on them

                          Nice Boots/Brac/Gaunt

Agility you choose{

                          Bad Boots/Brac/Gaunt (more Stat Points to use in other things)

Talent enough to use Wand/Staff , robe and Def item (Orb/Shield)

Having more Health always means dieing harder  ;)

 

Shield -

Strenght enough to use a nice Shield

Other things you already know  ;)

 

Using Skills as hell

 

Basically Full SPR

Only some Talent/STR/Agi to use basic itens

You won't tank that much~[/u]

Official PT builds are just rubbish here. Check the guide section for better references (not complete yet, but worth to take a look).
