Playing Priston for many years, there are lots of things that still bugs me, that grind my gears, haha! I would love if anyone of RPT staff could answer my questions, since they're all myths inside of Priston Tale! 1- How does Critical Works? I mean, everyone know that it boost 70% of your damage, but it seems that when we critically strike at PvP, it deals much more damage than extra 70%. It ignores enemy ABS? 2- How does Critical Chance stacks? Additively, Multiplicatively? For example, how much total Critical Chance i would have, when my knight uses: Sword with 34% critical + 7% spec Critical, Hell Bracelet that adds 1% Spec Critical, Fatal Edge that gives 5% Critical, while casting Double Crash, that have 15% added Critical? In theory, i would have 62% added critical when casting Double Crash. And, in case of Pikes, how much critical I would have? Scythe with 32% + 4% spec Critical, Hell Brac 1% Spec Critical, Critical Mastery that adds 18% Critical, Fatal Edge 5%, while casting T1 Critical Hit, that adds 40% of Critical? In theory i would have 100% Critical Chance. 3- How exactly Pike Assassin Eyes works? At Level 10, It adds 46% of Critical Chance or Critical Damage? Example, I have 50% Critical Chance. If it adds Critical, it is additively , 50% + 46% = 96%, or Multiplicatively, 50% x 0.46 = 73%? The same goes if it adds Critical Damage. Does it adds 70% + 46% = 116% Critical Damage, or 70% x 0.46 = 102,2% critical damage? If it adds whatever Critical Chance or Damage, others players targeting the monster with Assassin Eyes, would have added critical chance/damage? It works on PvP? It reduces 13% of monster critical chance only to the pike who casted it, or to everyone else? Does it also reduces players critical chance? If it reduces players critical chance, it reduces in PvP and PvE, like, when targeting with Ctrl on non-pvp maps? 4- How exactly Elemental Resistance works? It reduces elemental attacks in straight %? Example, I have 50 Poison Resistance, I would take 50% less damage from poison attacks, or i would absorb 50 damage from poison attacks? Like, poison damage = 1000, how Elemental Resistance would apply? 1000 - 50% = 500, or 1000 - 50 = 950? 5- Players default attack and skills at PvP have element? Its believed that players damage are Organic Elemental, so, does Organic Resistance reduces players damage at PvP? 6- How Elemental Resistance reduces debuff effectiveness and duration? Example, if I have 80 ice resistance, how Pike's Ground Pike would perform? It have 12 freeze time at Lv 10, and reduces 50% of target speed. 7- How Atalanta's Split Javelin works? It deals 3 hits at same time, each hit have its own calculations, or all 3 hits are calculated as one? Like, 3 hits, if target defend it, all 3 hits is defended at once? Or they can defend one or two hits? And the same about critical, they all get criticals, or can 2 or 1 out of the 3 hits critically strike? And the damage? Its calculated independently, like, all 3 hits can have different damage, or they all have the same damage? There are many other questions that still grind my gears. Thanks if anyone can reply! hondaimept 0 Report post Posted January 11, 2017 Interesting questions that were unanswered. I'm particularly curious about the truth behind a critical chance cap of 50% in PT. Can any knowledgeable kind soul please enlighten us? On a related note, if there were a cap on the critical chance, then I think it would only make sense that those "Added Critical" skills such as the 40% added critical for perforation is referring to "Added critical damage". DarkLink64 921 Report post Posted January 13, 2017 Oh, someone did necroed my thread. I got some answers. Critical Damage is one of the last damage modifiers. That's why when it procs, the damage is so higher. Only final damage comes after Critical Damage. It do not ignores enemy ABS. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I believe Defense is the chance that u have to Evade an attack, but it actually add ABS (ONLY EQUIPMENT). Defense gained through Skills dont add any ABS. It is in fact increasing our Defense on Character Menu ©, but i can not tell if it is indeed adding real Defense or just increasing visually, since it is based on RNG. If there was a monster with same ATR of base Knight without Drastic Spirit, we could test it. Also Defense is nothing related to absorbing/reducing damage. Only thing Defense relates to ABS is, 100 Def = 1 ABS. Drastic Spirit defense boost did not increased ABS, so in regard of this, nothing is wrong. DarkLink64 921 Report post Posted January 14, 2017 What about the resistances? I do only know that Ice/Lightning reduces Freeze/Stun time duration by %. Example, 50 Ice resistance is supposed to reduce Slowing effects by half of its duration. Dunno about the power of slow effects (movement speed reduction). Fire resistance reduces damage from fire attacks, but i don't remember if they reduce by % or flat aumont, like ABS. Same goes for poison. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
