incupal2 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2015 Hi good people, I'm currently unable to understand how leech leveling strategy works. Where it involves creating and leveling mgs or a prs and then using them to "help" a mech or knight to level faster. How exactly does it work? Thanks! zozo17 4 Report post Posted September 16, 2015 Hello incupal2, Leech strategy as you call it or Character boosting (same thing really),is a method to power level a low level character using a high level character. You connect your characters using party ,the max level difference allowed for partying is 25 levels so sometimes you will need to use a bridge,a character which can party both your low level and high level characters to connect between them (e.g. to party a character level 75 with level a character level 125 (50 level difference) you will need a level 100 character),and go to an EXP map (e.g. Mystery Desert 3 lvl req.105,Forgotten Temple 2 lvl req 115 etc..), you put the low level character in a safe place where monsters can't get it,and go in to the HS (Hell Spawn) with your high level character and start killing, you kill fast and your low level character gets lots of EXP and levels up fast. To do so you need a high level, strong char (depends of course to what map you go) and you use it to kill monsters and power level your low character. The recommended characters for this method are indeed the Mage and Prs classes, the reason for this is becuase they have good AOE (Area Of Effect) skills,Stone Spike for mage class for example. Hope it helped clearing things up for you, enjoy.
incupal2 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2015 Hi zozo17, Thanks a lot for the reply! That's really more that helpful . I only have one last question in mind about the matter and I'm sorry if I'm starting to sound stupid. But since you are using 2 of your characters to pull this off, does that mean you have to use 2 PCs or you just have to open 2 instances of the client? Or is there another way to do this? Please let me know. Thanks!!!
zozo17 4 Report post Posted September 16, 2015 First off don't be sorry for asking questions,it's a great way to learn and understand. Second, most people i know just open 2 (or more) instances of the client and toggle between them to control each char, some do use 2 PCs,just use whatever you feel more comfortable with. Also important,if you want to use this method be sure to create your chars on different accounts so you can log the 2 (or more) chars at the same time, simply put the more chars you have the more accounts you will need.
