The invisible danger in letters

Hello,

 

I would like to report an invisible danger that is present in the game: the lack of difference between I (capital letter) and L (lower case) or vice versa in the game.

Therefore, fearing that mistakes happen, for example: be penalized for an infringement that another visibly same name player to my comet, I would suggest it to be deployed to differentiate these letters within the game and thus can play a greater sense of safety.

afaik the problem is just the font, maybe changing it or creating their own should fix it..

You won't have to worry about this, we never make mistakes like this, we know who we're banning by their IP / ID / name / character / class / logs and other things, It's impossible to trick GMs.

As for the suggestion, I agree this would be a nice improvement.

I do agree that this is an issue that annoys me personally, but no harm will come from it. At best, it's just annoying. However, despite that slight annoyance, I like how our current font looks professional and clean. Comic Sans, for example, would fix that issue but look worse in my opinion.

But can't you guys change just the bigger "i" character?

 

I mean, from that lower "L" shape to a regular big "i" with 2 horizontal lines (top and bottom)...

 

 

Is it possible or you would have to change the whole font?

I'm not sure. But actually I just noticed that the forum font seems to be good. Looks professional and it doesn't have the problem you mentioned. Maybe we could use it.
