a quick question

hi, when playing the game on my laptop rather than using my laptop screen  i use hdmi to connect it to my much larger tv screen, but sometimes i find that the chat box is hard to read on some backgrounds. is there by any chance anything anybody has made to have a smoked or darkened background to the chat box so the text stands out abit better? ive had a look around but cant seem to find one and its killing me trying to read lol.
