getting geared and leveling up

Hi all

 

I used to play EPT a loooong time ago but i'm new to RPT (big props to the admins and developers for keeping pt alive in a spectacular way).

 

Im an 8x archer and I was wondering if there is any way to get geared before reaching lvl 106? Seems like people only put 10x+ stuff up in their shops.

I bought all the no-spec lvl 80 stuff i could in atlantis and im using the armor without lvl restrictions (350 def / 10 abs). Should I just age all this stuff and use it untill i reach 10x?

all general tips in leveling / gearing up are welcome!

theres a lil shop selling 9x items, but its at Mystery Desert (go from atlantis to there). It has a lvl 95 restriction though. For now i guess just grind the mobs till u hit 95 or just straight mix ur items, aging isn't worth the time anyway

Try Zues and Posiden servers for lower level equipment.  I sell lvl95 spec stuff boots, gaunts, brace, armor and sheilds there because you cant get those NPC and theres less shops so easier to navigate through.  But weapons come spec in shops with exception of PRS and MGS so theres no point in selling them in personal shops unless its Mech Javs and Bows for automation.

 

Also, you can mostly use your tier 3 weapon until you find a new one on a drop.  I used mine on a prs, replacing it with drops until I got to lvl 104 and could buy in a personal shop (aging helps the weapons you pick up kee[ up with the level you need for killing quickly).  Or mixing works better with lower level equipment in my opinion.
