Question about aging

Hey guys, a big noob (may be not) question: what is better use for aging? aging stones or copper ores?

Lets say for example i try age an item to +13. If i use copper ore i know it will not break, but can deage -1 or -2.

If i use an aging stone the chance of failure are 0%, this mean that the item will not break neither, right? or have some trap?

I like to read some advices from expert agers. Ty in advance >.<

If you use the stones it will not break while the failure rate is still 0%.  However... they are much more expensive than copper ore (at least with gp they are, not sure the cost ratio for using coins).  So it depends on how wealthy you are (it may actually cost less to just buy the stones if you're going to de-age 2 levels a bunch of time) but once you get to where the failure rate is more than 0% even with the stones, I'm guessing its better to use copper ore because even the slightest chance of failing could mean breaking and you don't want to use all that gold/coins with aging stones to get that high just to have the thing break on you.

I aged more than 10 items to +20 already and I'd say go for Aging Stone. You want raise your Aging Level, right?

Then use items that raise your chances to do it.

If your item breaks, you can restore it. So, Cooper Ore doesn't have useful space anymore.

Plus, try to get Candy Cane with your (aging char) spec, and use it while you're Aging your item. It will gives an extra 1% aging success rate.
