Am I KSing?

I came to Oasis to do tier 3 rank-up quest (70 monsters). I came to the high spot near the HS of the map to use crystals then finish the quest ASAP. There is already small loots around. Then a guy came and said something not in English but I can understand that he asked if I was KSing him. Then I left and changed to other servers but there are people there too.

I logged back to the original server and summoned some crystals over the pond (tried to stay far away from the guy farming). Then that guy came and tell me that I am KSing him then killed all my summons.

I don't really understand why high lvl people came to low lvl map. I JUST WANT TO DO QUEST. Maybe I don't know the secret behind it or I'm a newbie.

IMHO, a single person can only claim 1 spawn at a time (there are 3 spawns in that area). Further, he is probably only there to kill event mob quickly, which are FFA mobs afaik.

 

Looks to me he is just being a dick and trying to control as many of the spawns as possible for the event mobs

Thank you for reply. Maybe he is farming the Moriph for a low chance dropping high lvl sheltoms.

Usually when I saw someone at the HS, I just change server. However, at that time, all the servers have people at that HS so I just go a bit farther to complete my quest then moving on.

The problem here I that he acted as he owned the map. When he answered me that way, I don't really care if he reports me for KSing.

For God's sake its oasis. Who cares if you're ksing because you should only be there for like 20 mins max if you're actually trying to rank up there.

The reason for a high level char going into a low level map-

 

event monsters are easier to find in giant mobs you can kill fast

 

looting items for a low level char they are trying to rank up

 

farming gold

 

No one is going to turn you in for KSing in that kind of situation

Didn't even think about that. Good point

 

If I were the one in that spawn and someone level 3x 4x really needed to use it... I'd move. Because they're trying to level and I'm just there because it's a fast spawn for event monsters. There's plenty of other maps I could use
