Kurthot 153 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 The topic link was not english can you translate it by the way. Orbs / Armors defense almost always falls points when the age down. why? For items that earn bonus acts by percentage, always they are "rounded" to the lowest whole number. ok. we would say that an item has +16 1456 defense. This item goes through the aging process, up +17 pro and earn 5% defense the most, going to 1528.8 (which is automatically rounded up to 1528). These 5% are 72.8 higher defense, which automatically saw 72. then you try to +18 and the item (with 1528 defense) back pro +16, and loses 5% of defense that won up pro +17 (these 5% are on the defense of past acts, not the acts current or lose LOTS of defense to return, or are those 72.8). 1528 to 72.8 = 1455.2. Which automatically turns 1455. Anyway, the only items that lose stats when they return are items that earn bonuses PERCENTAGE. That is, ORBS and ARMORS. And the only stat that loses points DEFENSE. Of course there are ages where defense wins the acts gives a whole number of face, and these rare cases are the ones where if you return the acts, not lose any point of defense ... Example: An item that has exactly 1000 defense, or any other number that when added 5% will result in an integer. 1000 + 5% = 1050 If the acts back, back to 1000. Another example: 1480 defense. When the item up 5% gain just 74 defense more, going to exact 1554. And if by bad luck the item return -1 back to 1480, without losing any defense. Well, that's it. I think it's worth doing the accounts at the time of age, and if you finds that the acts will win a bonus of FULL value in defense, know that the acts after this can be done using a copper ore without fear of losing stats! I hope that I have helped! GOOGLE TRANSLATOR WITH SOME EDITIONS ;D
TrapHouse 102 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 This was removed 2+ years ago. Items do no longer lose stats when they receive a de-age.
Geovane 78 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 Basically because of floating point. As Kim explained in the portuguese section post, items only lose status when the aging process increases stats based on %, why? The status are displayed as Integers. Example: >Armor having 1456 defense. >Ages +1 (goes to 1528,8 which means +5%) but the displayed defense is 1528 >Tries +1 > Fails and loses the defense you got earlier (-5%, 1528-72,8 = 1455,2) and the displayed defense is now 1455 This is the process and therefore lots of deages causes lots of stats points loses. Be aware this happens with absorption too. I'm not sure if it was removed from rpt.
BabaYaga 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 lol some people say it lost points in defense and others say that it was removed, Wartale could give us a light here
TrapHouse 102 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 lol some people say it lost points in defense and others say that it was removed, Wartale could give us a light here Trust me, its been removed. A long time ago too. De-aging any item (weapon/armor/robe/shield/orb) does not make the item lose ANY stats.
knightawc 85 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 lol some people say it lost points in defense and others say that it was removed, Wartale could give us a light here age a low lvl armor, then use the rune for de-age the item, and compare stats (i just say low lvl item for cheaper cost : )
BabaYaga 0 Report post Posted September 27, 2016 only for knowledge for all: if your defense item back age -1 or -2 it will not affect any status TrapHouse was right, it was removed.
