How to reduce the lag [If the problem is slow net]

Recommended Posts

There is a feature in Windows XP called "QoS Packet Scheduler", which reserves 20% of the available bandwidth of network and Internet for their own use. To disable it you must be logged in as Administrator and execute the following steps: Go to Start, Run and type gpedit.msc and press OK.

After that, go to Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Network and QoS Packet Scheduler

In the right window, double-click on Limit Reservable bandwidth.

Then go to the Configuration tab and select Enabled. Limit on line% band, type 0 (zero).

Click Apply and OK.

Now go to Control Panel / Network Connections, right click on the existing connection and select Properties.

In the General tab, enable the QoS Packet Scheduler

If already enabled, leave it there. The last step is to restart the computer.

If more than one networked computer, you must follow this procedure at all for there to be a real benefit of this tip.

I do not know if they can give problems on computers that need the network, but something just leave the Non-Configured.

interesting tip.

however this game doesn't take alot of bandwidth

the most important thing is ping

when playing, if you experience lag, you should disable everything that communicates with internet, such as instant messaging, downloads, etc.
