How does absorb works?

I'd like to know how absorb works. How much damage 1 point of absord reduces from the incoming damage? Thanks

1 Absorb reduces 1 point of incoming damage.

 

 

It is a flat reduction from the final damage calculation.

 

 

If you have 300 ABS and the incomming damage is 1000, you'll take 700 points of damage. Some skills add damage reduction (not ABS), like Knight Godly Shield and Mage Energy Shield.

 

 

In Knight Case, for example, 1000 damage gets reduced by 25% (750), then get reduced by 300 ABS, total damage taken is 450.
