Make Di and SL playable

Priston its a game where characters have different abilities and atributes. In a party every char is important because all of them contribute to lvl up process.

 

But in Rpt things can change drastically after lvl 132 especially if you are assassin, pike, atalanta or mage. It doesn't matter you have always been killer but you

will have one choice: to be the lurer. Automatically the chances of party for lurers are around 16,66%. Tankers have the same probability but they are the minority.

 

I was wondering what would change if we could make Skill balance to help up those specific classes:

 

  • Keep the player motivation up
  • Server economy would become more stable
  • Easier to invite players to Q
  • Return classes that are the minority: Assasin, Pikes and others
  • More active players
  • Make game more dynamic
  • Easier to lvl up
  • Every char would be ok to party
  • Easier to find items to buy and to sell your drops
  • Better to hunt and sell more of your drops
  • Make the community even more powerful and sucessful

 

What do you think about it?  8)

I think you need to provide more on how can each of your suggestions can be done. Because this sound to me like a list of thing you want, not a suggestion.

 

- Keep the player motivation up: Do you mean the player who play class like pike, ass and mage?

  + Mage is damage dealer: IC is good for mage. For SLQ or DIQ, each class has their own ability in here, the killer and tanker will play the main role here, any other class should join pt either as support like pri or lurer. Therefore, it is up to the ppl choice to pt someone to lure.

  + Ass: No comment since I haven't play this class

  + Pike: Currently is worst killer class due to the ability to kill, fixing it attack rating and some dmg pump will help to resolve the issue

 

- Server economy would become more stable:

  + From what I can see the server economy is not too bad

   

- Easier to invite players to Q:

  + With daily Q, I see ppl pt for Q all the time at all maps

  + For DIQ: as mention previously

 

- Return classes that are the minority: Assasin, Pikes and others: same as mention above

 

- More active players: have you seen the ric in all 3 sub servers? There are plenty players

 

- Make game more dynamic: not sure what do you mean by this

 

- Easier to lvl up: I disagree as level is main part of this game, with easy level, ppl will run out of thing to do. Not everyone enjoy BC, SOD or Hunting

 

- Every char would be ok to party: that is up to player to decide who they want to pt. I see pri, mages and SS a lot of time complain ppl won't pt them for Q in DIQ but let go to real EXP maps, you will see pri, mage or SS say no to pt anyone because they like solo for fast exp.

 

- Easier to find items to buy and to sell your drops: The current drop rate is good enough, anything more will ruin the market. We see ppl drop 140 pretty much 1 a day. But maybe a bit less now.

 

- Better to hunt and sell more of your drops: Make the community even more powerful and successful

  + Like mention above, hunting is pretty good atm

  + I don't see the problem with selling your drops if you sell with right price.

- we have plenty active players

- easy level mean every one will be top and there is no point to play anymore

 

About easy to party or pt Q: i think that is gamers choice, GM won't be able to do a thing. Each class has their own ability, so no matter how you can balance it, the chance to get pt won't be much different.

 

I do agree, pike need to be fixed as it supposed to be a killer.

 

Skill Balance is the key Mib. If the skills make more damage it means that it will be easier to find Party Q. Because for many being a lurer its not by choice...

Agree, but GM is not like gamer, they don't play so it is better for gamer to provide details on how the skill can be balance, such as which skill and what need to be done with it. I'm sure when someone can provide that details, GM can look into it faster.

Agree, but GM is not like gamer, they don't play so it is better for gamer to provide details on how the skill can be balance, such as which skill and what need to be done with it. I'm sure when someone can provide that details, GM can look into it faster.

 

Well, if the gms take a look here and decide to apply it I would say how every skill should work. It's easier to me because I have all kinds of chars but I'm not Game developer at all.

It's just math to know how you gonna change every single skill but I would say that I would boost the Aoe skills and any kind of positive buffs such as vl, source etc...

I think I'm gonna work on that and post here later!

I have some ideas to figure how is going to be the skill balance.

I have magician and pikeman done already. I will post as soon as posible!
