bezoutix 0 Report post Posted February 14, 2017 mage is still a trash after the latest 're-balance' even pris is weaker than before. the shaman is the only one rising from the ashes... i just think you dont need to kill other chars till you need to make another stronger. - D E A T H S T R O K E - 1,760 Report post Posted February 14, 2017 Those players which are saying that mage is weak are problably 12x, mages are extremely overpowered, death ray damage is over 1000%(amplify still adds 138% of final damage) when it crits, that is insane, the problem is, stone spike with wand 122 mixed got its damage reduced and it seems that energy shield is draining to much MP, and due that we see a post about this everyday, but none of those mages are complaing about death ray nor dancing sword being OP, also, stone spike damage actually got stronger for 14x mages. Ok , lets do some maths Death ray damage bost =75%, spirit elemental 74% => 149% damage bost => 249% damage + 138% final = 592 % and when it is crit 249%+70%=423% +138% = 1,007% A mage 141 with staff 130+22 reach 1350 damage , if i'm not wrong, so , it is almost 8,000 damage regular hits and 13,500, there is a static abs of 80% in PvP, if i'm not wrong , so 1,600 - abs on regular hits or 2.700 - abs in critical hits, and as far as i could see, that is the right damage ,because a mage 130 is hit killing 14x chars with WAND, so, the definition of "FINE" is be able to kill any char in game in 1 hit.... also , there is no need to go pvp pure spirit , so you could be imortal just with wand+dist , and be able to kill. Also, if DR deals less damage than Ss, doesn't it means that Stone spike is also strong? Because mage is problably/obviusly really strong at hunt atm even though using death ray. About energy shield, it could reduce the damage after Abs, it would reduce mage's tankyness by the way, and, if that happen, yes, maybe death ray could still be deadly. But, seriusly, comparing a close ranged with 30 sec delay skill with a long ranged spamable skill? What kind of drugs do you use? Neither fighters are doing this amout of damage => Fs 141 damage = 2000, destroyer damage bost = 150% => 250% damage + 70% = 425% => 10.500 => 2.100 - Abs , deatj ray is a nuke without delay, puff. Amplify only adds final damage so you can not count its bonus into your formula. In fact, the final damage of death ray is a lot less than in your calculation. nevertheless, I agree that mage is strong right now in hunt where energy shield mana drain is not a problem. In PvP i dont have much experience (loss 2 full stash of rez last siege war), im 147 mage equip with +22 robe and orb, wand 122 and staff 136; set 3, hell brace, greedy gaunt and 136 boot all mix sol. As soon as I enter the caution zone, I was once shot, everytime. but for low level mage that has to use energy shield in exp map that would be a nightmare though Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Chris 3 Report post Posted February 15, 2017 the most OP atm is MECH... Mage is OP too but compare to MECH, Mage is nothing special. Mech can tank better than mage, kill a lot faster than mage ( i am talking about 1 hit kill.) Mech has a lot more attack rate than mage. The only advantage mage has over mech is that mage has disto, but mech has more defs+ abs and does not require a lot of health point to tank. So over all, I still think Mech is the most OP char, then Mage, and finally Archer. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
DarkLink64 921 Report post Posted February 15, 2017 Yes, Mechanician is indeed pretty much the most broken class of all. Mechanicians, Archer and Mages are breaking the PvP. While Mages can not tank that much, he still can one shot everyone on the game. Mechs tanks a lot when shielded, even with maximize. And Maximize alone has a hidden effect that adds 70% of the character MAX ATK POW, not only of this weapon, thus one shotting people easily even with claws. On top of that, Mechs has the best HP formula of the game, alongside with Fighter. Lets not forget that Grand Smash is a very fast skill to be used. It cast a lot faster than Knight Grand Cross, and is almost the same as Fighter (buffed with 15% atk speed from Swiftness). And, wew, Archers. Archers Attack Rating is extremely high. Phoenix Speed is not reducing the Attack Rating as it should (30% instead of 60%), and even if it indeed worked correctly, Archer Attack Rating would still remain high, alongside with a insane 30% evade bonus + movement speed. Scowt Hawk 200% effect is one of the reasons to why Archers Attack Rating is SO high. Add this Evasion + Her evasion passive + Attack Rating with a Draxos Boots + some Evade buffs like PvP Champion or BC Scrolls, Archer can tank much more than everyone else except mechanician, while still killing people with two, quick Phoenix Shot.
