Are these problems related to absorb?

Hi guys,

 

I know many players are having this struggle so im sry if there are other posts about it, but i want to share what i believe about it and see what you think.

Probably, everyone has noticed that almost everybody is taking much more damage than before, even with the same absorb, defense, block and all. Then I realised that many buffs, mainly the ones that buff absorb, arent working. You take exctly the same damage with or without them. It was very clear to me in my tanker mech, who used to lose absolutely no hp before and now cant tank anymore even on newbier maps, in my knight, whose godly shield also makes no diference, and finally, the mage, whose energy shield drains much more mp when activeted, what seems a absorb problem to me.

 

Is it a problem on absorb? Or arent the buffs working properly? Or it is exactly as it's supposed to be after the new patch? Has anything been pubished by about it by now?

Does anyone know what it is and if its going to be fixed soon?

 

Im sry if its a reapeated post, but i wanted to share my opinion and know what you think, since many player have told me that its not a bug and makes part of the new patch, but i dont think so.

I jave noticed that too my ms 141 got instant die on ct3 even with all skills on plus vl while in the past i had no dmg in this map

About mechanicians, the problem is with Gravitation. Don't use it and you will be fine.

About Knights, Godly Shield only works with shields now.

on my shaman i do not see any difference except that now the phantom call skill works very well. Before it did not affect the monsters in a way that caused push back as in so many other aoe skills like PS tornado does. (damage and everything else is the same afaik) After the patch the skill does do that and hence makes shaman little stronger. Also the shaman absorb buff works as intended.

My same knight with shield is taking a lot of damage. I can not stay in ad3 anymore because it takes a lot of shield damage ... considering that I am level 137 well equipped.

 

Hg impossible to enter and not die = /

Even with the skill change Godly Shield, I still take a lot of damage after the big upgrade, with or without a shield.

 

Hunting Maps, it's harder now, maps that before could take 5 or 6 hits before dying, now with 3 or 4 hits the mobs is enough to do that.

 

I think all the other characters are having the same problem.

i noticed the same...

even without gravitation, it seems that the other buffs dont work as well

i lost no hp in exp maps with all the buffs activated, and now, with or without them, i die easily

 

But if its just a bug, thats ok bc they will probably fix it soon

i was worried it was part of the balancement... hope it isnt

Which is probably bugged, since 100 def = 1abs but Drastic Spirit only gives Def and no 1 single point to abs

100 DEF = 1 Abs only for static defense, I think. In skills defense does not increase Abs (Mech's Metal Armor doesn't either)

Godly Shield worked yes before the big update, it was clear the difference in damage when it activates the skill.

You're wrong. Godly Shield made no difference at all as opposed to Divine Shield in PvE. In fact, Divine Shield was better to use since it gave you regen off your blocked hits from undead monsters.

 

During PvP Godly Shield made a noticeably big difference compared to Divine Shield, against monsters 0 difference.

 

Already tested a few months back with Wartale in game, confirmed.

This is very depressing to know that Godly shield is useless in PvE but worst that Wartale knows about this and nothing is done?  So does activating Godly shield activates Devine shield as the skill descriptions says?  If not, then I have been activating a skill all this time for nothing.

He is able to see the exact damage dealt by the monsters, it was exactly the same when using DS and GS. So yes, the skill was bugged prior to the big patch, and was on his list to fix and also make GS not work with 2h anymore which seems like he did also.

firstly, tks for your answers and for your helps, but there is one thing i still cant understand...

everyone agrees that GS is not working neither in PvE or in PvP, but the unanswered question is...

 

Will GS keep working with 2h in PvP as it used to? Or has sandurr nerfed it and made it work only with 1h?

 

If it wont work with 2h anymore, knights will be too weak, and im afraid of that... What do you think?

so, basically the fact that knights are dying so easily in pvp is not a bug, but a permanent change.

Rly hope they undo it soon, otherwise knights will become completely useless from now on.

Hi Adiace,

 

Every class is weaken at the moment, we've managed to figure out what was causing this bug and it will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

 

Just let us wait to see how the class will be when the bug is done.
