jaylz 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 If I have the spec filter on, does that effect the sheltoms that drop? Because say I am only looking for MGS spec defense items but I also want all the sheltoms... would I lose out on the NS and other spec sheltoms because I have the MGS spec filter on? Any GM or anyone else know the answer to this? Please and thank you.
Asura 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 Yes, if you are using the mage spec filter you will only get sheltons with mage spec, you will not see the NS (or any other spec) ones. That sucks I know
jaylz 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2017 Yes that really sucks. They should change that so even if you have the spec filter on, all spec sheltoms still drop.

Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose of a filter? That if you have spec filter on yet all sheltoms still drop. I know what you are saying, you want certain spec items yet you want all sheltoms to drop as well. But think about it, how complicated do you want the loot filter to be. And this is useful only if you are hunting 9x 10x items for your noobs and that just take a few hours.
jaylz 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2017 The only time I use the loot filter is when I'm looking for stuff for level 80-85 in Ice1, but you can also get celest and mirage in Ice1, which you cannot buy NPC so I would still want all the celest and mirage to show up even if I am just looking for items for a certain lower lvl char. I can't imagine anyone using loot filter in a hunt map since its not like you have a million drops to sort from. Its basically the only map where I wouldn't want only a certain spec sheltom to drop... as lower maps drop sheltoms you can just buy NPC and everything higher is a hunt map. Loot filter is mainly for boss drops. And also in xp maps when u just want to pick up gold. What you have mentioned like I said is minimum, how often do you need to hunt for ur noobs at 8x 9x?
