Enchant 13 Report post Posted February 4, 2017 I'm a returning player, and I've been reading up on the Priestess skills on the website. I don't get how Damage Boost% works, nor the +30% Normal. What do these percentages mean?
Enchant 13 Report post Posted February 4, 2017 When using that skills it will boost your damage by the % shown in the skill description. Let's imagine you have a minimum attack power of 100 and a maximum one of 200, and you use a skill that says "50% dmg boost", when using that skill you will deal a minimum damage of "min atk pow + 50% of it" (100+50) = 150 and a maximum damage of "max atk pow + 50% of it" (200+100) = 300. For instance I only used one skill dmg boost but, when playing there are more buffs that increase your damage that have to be added to the calculation to get your "true" final damage. About "+30% normal", "normal" is a monster type. There are 8 different monster types in-game, when using a skill that says "+x% monster type" it means you will deal an additional x% damage only against that type of monster, besides the normal damage boost the skill has. Thank you very much, that was crystal clear
Nibbix 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2017 Then I have a question about Final Damage. I am a Magician and one passive tier 5 skill is Amplify, which gives 1 on 1 final damage. What does that mean? 1 on 1 and final damage? Does it increase damage for say Final Spike? or is it more for Death Ray?

I thought that dmg boost increases the damage itself, and not the attack power... Forninstance, you have 100 atk power hit on the mob, then this 100 atk power passes through monster absorb and deals final dmg of 80. The 80 will be boosted and not the 100, isnt it? It's ''Damage Boost'', not ''Final Damage Boost'', so Pedrochicco explanation is correct. Also Attack Power IS your Damage, they're not different. Attack Power is the Minimum and Maximum amount of HP you can take out from your enemy with one hit --> Which is your Damage. And it doesn't consider the enemy's Absorb. So for example, a 10% Damage Boost means 10% bonus on your Attack Power basically. So 100 AttackPower +10% boost = you'll hit with 110 AttackPower, and then, the game you take it and throw against enemy's Absorb to make the final Damage. Boosting the damage after making the Absorb calculation just doesn't make any sense, since all damage must ''face'' absorption to calculate the actuall final damage. The game will get together all your damage and your damage boosts(skills, forces, critical...) and then throw against all the enemy ''defenses'' and ''defense'' bonuses, wich is everything that will lessen the damage taken, like Absorption.
