nthieu8x 16 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 Hi all, i have concern about new formula for Dancing Sword, at level 10 it will add 70% fire damage or 65% ice damage. So, in case of fire damage, it will boost 70% damage of stone spike and meteorite? or 70% atk power? anyone did test please give me advice. one more thing, new patch from 4090 make my mage 134 weaker, because in the past, i finished daily quest 120 - pro mode in about 35 min. now it took me more than 1 hour to finish. any new tips for new patch? Thank all.
heoantap 21 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 the dancing sword has its own damage, it is not a modifier of another skill. as for new patch, I can only say that your damage will get better once you have enough gear, to the point that you can one shot a 14x by dancing sword automatic attack
nthieu8x 16 Report post Posted March 1, 2017 I used to train AD with stone spike by wand, it still had enough damage with old formula. Now wand does not have enough damage to kill. if using staffs, we will make sure we have good gears to tank.

Thank all. It's 65-70% of your attack power - same way other skills work. The fire/ice part is dependant on the sword that is summoned. If the sword floating around your head is on fire, that's the fire sword that does 70% weapon damage per hit, similar to the strength of a death ray. Mind you I'm not sure if final damage modifiers apply to dancing sword as they do to death ray. Ice does less as I think it freezes/slows targets. As to mages being weaker I agree. I was doing fine in FT last week and after their 'energy shield fix' I seem to do less damage and take even more damage to mymana even with ES level 4. Everyone always brings out PVP as an example and says mages are fine, but when our damage is too low to exp/hunt, and our survivability is too low to use a staff so we can actually do some damage, then leveling to 14x to PVP isn't going to happen.
