Axe or Sword for PvE which is better?

i have no idea which is better for PvE.

i hope someone has tested it.

not just think about it.

Compare with axe134+22 and sword134+22.

no it is not "Ofcourse" because there is a huge difference in Criticals.

Swords are better for PvE and PvP because of critical %.

 

Axes are kinda of useless and have no purpose on Wartale.

im a FS 154 and i have both axe and sword 138+24 and i did test both , i can tell u 100% SWORD is better in both PVP and PVE , there r only a few very high lvl ppl 162+ FS using 2h Axe because they use it for Destroyer only, but still all in all Sword is better

Only one thing i don't like about swords is ATK RTG which is low.

 

but honestly 100 atk rating is nothing.

I have tested axe vs sw....yes sw has high crit but it will missed a lot compare to axe, axe will not miss if atk rating is high..been fs for 11 years sw is just crit but missed a lot of shots

but I hate fake news which keeps making problems in the game ( whenever it is on purpose or accident) .

 

 I did a test ( I personally did with 138-140+24 DNT gears+ set boss 3 DNT ( except boots which are drax and gaunt which is drop and doesn't really matter ), and sword kill most mobs way faster by around 25%, those 16% crit worth way more than the 120 AR we get from axe+ the boost of it from AC, and axes RN are just worthless ( test done to check the time it takes to kill a mob with a sword, compared to the same mob with an axe, with a TIMER. 

 I took a lot of samples, and tested each mob many times while writing down the time I need to kill it each time, getting an average time I need to kill a mob to reduce the luck factor, and check DPS, what actually matter, the conclusion is that sword kills around 25% faster than an axe). .

 

To people who are looking for more information- you can read about it more in other topics, I did my test with a 156 fs ideal build too ( everything min stats needed for items, rest on str ), that test done by few former 16x fs, 1 whos still a 16x fs, 2 154 fighters, 152 fs and many others all got to the same conclusion that sword kills so much faster than an axe.

 

For pvp- before the fs nerf when there was a reason( beside liking fs)  to be a fs if you like to be good specifically in 1v1 fights ( not team fights / SW ), and there were pvp fighters, they were using swords( and I know personally nicks who tested it ) , even 142 1h sword outperforms axe.

 

The only reason to use a 1h axe- when you solo specifically in SS and you have no tank, and you wanna use the flame vortex, since you cant tank at all with 2h, its better done with 1h, and for the vortex only row power matters, so that is the only case 1h axe wins ( ofc with a tank u use 2h ).

 

Reason to use 2h axe- if you are rich enough to afford both 2h axe and sword while having a tanker at SS, you use sword when AC yet axe for the flame vortex, other than that 2h sword for everything ( The extra damage of the vortex can't even be compared to the additional DPS you will do with AC with a sword , and even if u can afford it, the diff is small compared to FV with 2h sword to the lvl its neglectable ).

 

( now its pretty much only the 171 fighter which this week RN is barely top 50, despite being the highest lvl with the best gears by a mile compared to everyone else when the player itself is also good).

Appearance determines what I choose. The first impression of fs is open, so the appearance of sw is more suitable for KS, that's all.
