Gives extra damage.  I got one in a xmas box so i used it and it makes a little bit of difference.  if you have an egg it doesnt hurt to use one (you def can use all the help you can get in SL)... but if you need the gold for other things, then you're not missing too much by not using one.

it helps a lot when it becomes heal pet. specially if ur tanker
