Archer Basics

Hello,

I just started an Archer character and I was wondering the following:

  • Does attack rating only add to hit chance? Not crit chance or anything like that?
  • Perforation seems a lot stronger than bomb shot on non-demons, but the positioning is quite annoying. Is standing in a mob pack using bomb shot a terrible idea?
  • What about Arrow of Rage? Alternative to perf at lower levels?

Edit: questions answered in private :)

1- Atk rtg is the chance of your attack to fail or not, AoE skills have a 100% of success with only a few skills of exception. I guess that a high number of atk rtg is better for critical because you've a higher chance to hit the target, but the Critical Rate is another thing independent of this.

2. Yeap it's a terrible idea x) Bomb Shot has bigger area than perfo, some people say that perfo is better (because of critical and the same damage to all targets) but bomb shot is the best way to kill without worrying with positions and being killed (in quest case for example)

3. I dont really know about AOR, I guess yes, I never use it because I leech my as with my prs, but if you're a low level and don't have BShot or Perfo lvl 10 and u need to kill to up, I guess it's an alternative :D (but don't put AOR lvl 10, it's useless when u have the other skills)
