martual 1 Report post Posted January 17, 2011 Dear All, I create this topic is to ensure that the skill is balanced among all class. Let us first decide the purpose of all the classes before we start looking deeply into their skills individually. AS - Ranger with Damage MS - Super Melee Tanker PS - Critical Melee damage KS - Moderate Melee on Tanker and Damage FS - Pure Melee Damage ATA - Moderate Ranger on Tanker and Damage PRS - Supporting Caster MGS - Damage Caster Please leave your opinion here. THanks ^^

Akira 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2011 You totally forgot pike. poor pikes pike: variable damage, [with critical the highest from all classes, without critical damage lower than fighters] [critical style] real high evasion, low defense & medium Hp
razorinflux 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2011 You totally forgot pike. There was a reason for that. It's called uselessness.

THanks ^^ one thing in common all classes have is the need of exp, it's something you can't just avoid, whether you like it or not you are forced to exp. You can buy levels but after level 120 you can't anymore, you can hire an exper but reachng lvl 140 would cost you thousand euros. So imho all 8 classes should be good at exping, in their own way, i mean solo exping because if a few classes are op at solo exping you will keep seeing "solo sry" "no pt" from mages/priests etc. Exping is something you can't skip, you must do it. So once you decide the main role for each class (your list seems accurate) i'd add a "good exp skills" for every class and make it weak at hunting/pvp/sod/tank ("/" means "or", just one of those for each class). Imho it sucks that many classes are OP at solo exping, they reach lvl 120, hunt a bit or get some money, trade their class for another one (like fighter) and find themselves at high level with half the efforts. I saw a lot of people leveling mages and priestess up to 12x and then trade them for a pvp/hunt character

kenshiro 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2011 yeah but i wasn't suggesting to remove it, just to make sure one class doesn't level up 10x faster than another to exploit the trick if all classes had pretty much similar exp gaining nobody would roll priest and mage just to be a fast leveler, only 'cause they like the play style
martual 1 Report post Posted January 18, 2011 Class change coz the person want diff style. For xping purpose, we can decide on the dmg of each AOE skill. Using points system helps a lot. Abt exp map, we shud always have balance mob type to be fair to everyone
koleo 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 Wrong about ms. I don't understand why some people are so stubborn by saying that mechs are only for tanking. Last time I checked mechs have the option to be: Automech Pure Automech Autospark mechs Auto/power hybrid Auto/tank hybrid Powermech Power spark mech Power/tank hybrid Tank mech Tank spark hybrid Hp Tank And many many more that I just can't think of at the moment. Also all of these categories have sub categories on specific stats and amount of SP put into each skill. In fact I know of mechs who have done tanker/power/auto mech all in one. Those are 3 different types, not just one You should label mechs as being the most versatile characters seeing as how you can't label them as one specific genre. Don't assume. martual 1 Report post Posted January 19, 2011 Too bad .... thats the nature of mech .... unless u remove their tanking ability or increase abd/block ^^

In my opinion Mechs are the Jack of all trades master of none...except they ARE the masters at Tanking, and i think they should excel the most in tanking. I mean why have so many Tanking skills compared to other classes if you're not the main tank class?

They can excel at all of these different variations, which is being proven right now in pvp. They can put on their tank skills and tank 5 mobs in et, or they can put on their pure automech skills and be one of the fastest hunters. Shouldn't be based on only skills if other skills are equally as powerful in a different build.
Xandrax 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2011 For the portion of a Priestess, I have to say that she just does not kill in PVP ....- and still a case to see .... My very sacer kills the Mob, I'm proud of it, besides being a great support all classes.
