A thought for the mech community.

Soooo.... anyone else not going to use any of the t5 skills that we have set for us?

Of course it isn't actually set since they can all be changed, but the basis of the skills that are on the site all kinda blow. It looks like I'm going to have 20+ Realm points collecting dust.

I'm only saying this so that some of the skills can be changed around before they do become finalized and those are the skills we receive, because I'm guessing that those skills are pretty close to what we will get in the end with maybe 1 or 2 changed around a bit.

 

The only way any of these skills would benefit us atm would be the Automech skill, but now with automation 390% boost at lvl 10 there is no point for it. So now I wouldn't want any of these skills. I would still prefer ES or SS over Trine shield, and the ground pound hammer skill has a huge delay. The taking hp from pt is neat, I would be okay with that maybe :/

 

I'm only saying this because I think that most if not all the skills should be rethought out or trashed entirely before it's too late. I think mechs should get at least one good attack finalizing skill like Split jav, desto, CS, or Phoenix shot.

 

In b4 trolls saying " IT'S NOT UP YET!!!!"

Imo, there should be an imitation skill. Like you designate a spec and they have some kind of finishing move derived from any of the other classes inwtsince Mechs are supposed to be multipurpose

I would pick Trine Shield over ES in a heartbeat. It has the same amount of block boost, and it adds defense and absorb. That would free up 9 points from your SP. Those 9 points could then go into something like MWM, GS, or Maximize, or anything else for that matter. I would also get the skill that takes damage from party members, since I am a tank build. Otherwise I don't think the other two are worthwhile. Maybe the AoE with less cool down, so that we don't have to do a spark build anymore. But, I do agree that mechs should get ONE bow/jav skill.

How would it work without party? And if it did? How would that help?

According to it's description that wouldn't just take part of the damage inflicted on the party to you, but would also absorb some damage AND even reflect some!

Eh they would probably make gravi work only in parties, but you never know.

We already have 2 shield skills, I don't really want another one even if it is that good. I would totally rather a finish skill like dest, cs, ect.. No more AoE skills, we already have like 4, not including SS which could possibly be AoE too. None of the skills really appeal to me and don't make me feel like OMG I WANT THAT! which is what I think they should be like.

tier5 skill stats are NOT final.

a lot of things can happen before it's actually released.

 

that data was released to people can take a peak at what's coming up, and people keep coming up with this kind of topics...  ::)

I realize that man, I'm just saying if they use these skills but just tweak them around a little, I still wont like them.

Also in my post I said I realize they aren't final, but I am saying that if these are a preview to what we get then it totally blows imo.

Trine Shield is good. Gravitation is great. The bow buff, not so great. And the AoE, again, not great. I say change the bow buff to something else as far as a spammable bow skill or something along those lines. And change the Obliterate from an AoE to a "Destroyer"-like skill. Final Smash, perhaps?

Yup, none of these skills are powermech complimentary.

As it turned out, the GMs hate the Mech. They kill the Power variation once again. So no DMG dealing skill is coming up in Tier5. We can now hope that Gravitation would actually reflect more DMG than it is planned to do now to make Mech a real good party member.

Yeah that was a huge D-bag move.

Hopefully davv, gogg, and 3R can talk some sense into them. Especially 3R atm with his new balance posts. Check it out and give him your opinions if you can justify it.

As it looks we might hopefully get a 150% boost instead (which is what most of us have been asking for)

And +700 atr boost on GS. Maybe they will change it to something like 80% atr boost, but if it goes that high then it will be like knights GC that has a very fast animation and hardly misses. If that makes sense.
