Oh, Hello.

 

Regards to all KS's who still KS after " nerf ".:1311_thumbsup_tone2:

 

This make a TONS OF DIF while up/hunt/bc/whatever R udoing

This only works well when u need be a lit bit tankier

But i got some questions.

 

1- What would be " Abs Rtg " ? ( from Goldy shield ) ( lazy Question )

 

2- "Divine shield block 100% Chain " = 4% ( from divine ) only this ? or absorb HP from undead ? ( lazy Question )

 

3- Def from Drastic spirit inflict on abs ? ( another lazy Question )

 

Other day i saw a ks using this skill on DIQ.

4.1- Deal more damage ?

 

I trought " this KS is a pro who know hidden secrets about class or is just a fool using it " 

 

 

I'M NOT EXPERT ON KS, BUT I LIKE TO MUCH TO PLAY THIS

1- "ABS Rtg" is just innacurante and old skill description (This is a problem of Wartale. Most skill description is outdated and contain inconsistent terms.)
It means straight 25% Damage Reduction, where it differs a lot from just ABS or Absorption. The raw damage taken is first substracted by 25%, then your ABS applies. Example, 300 ABS, and incoming damage is 1000. (1000 - (1000x0.25) - 300), 1000 - 250 - 300 = 450.


2-Casting Godly Shield will "link" just the Block parameter of Divine Shield. If you have Divine Shield Lv10, casting Godly Shield at any level will grant you 4% of block, when shielded.

 

3-No, it doesnt affect ABS. Imo, and my suggestion is: ABS from Undead Bane should be removed, then, Drastic Spirit additional Defense could add ABS too (1 abs per 100 defense).

 

4- No Secret. It is just the strongest AoE skill of Knight, with a good Linear range (still shorter than Piercing), but with a rather okay width range (bigger than Piercing, but shorter than Brandish). This skill has the highest damage boost, but has the slowest animation out of the three main AoE skills of Knight. So, SoJ performs almost the same as others, where Piercing is narrower but is faster + additional damage on Mutant, and Brandish, the weakest, is still a little faster than SoJ and has a wider area.

4.1 Yeah, it deals more damage, but as i've already said, it is slower than both Brandish and Piercing. Theorically, Piercing is the best of all three, since it is the fastest and has the Mutant damage boost, but, requires mobs to be aligned on a straight line. 

There isn't a single "Go-To" skill to use, there are many situations where one skill will perform better than others. But, usually SoJ isn't used, due to Piercing working almost the same as SoJ but being faster and better. The trick is to get Brandish and Piercing. Use Brandish on spreaded monsters, use Piercing on perfect aligned or when monsters are all gathered togheter in a single spot.

People might use SoJ if they dont have enough Skill Points on their Skill Build. Other than that, there is just a single scenario where SoJ can be better than Piercing and Brandish, that is PvP, to be more specific, PvP during Siege War. Knight AoE damage is crippled by half on PvP, so his damage in overall is almost inexistant on PvP, but, on Siege War, you can angle your skill, and benefit from higher burst damage (160% vs 140% and 150%) and a wider area, probably scoring more last hit than Brandish (because its the weakest) or Piercing (because it is too thin).

SoJ has almost 2 times of Piercing Width range. However Piercing has bigger width on it's end reach, having a cone shaped area of effect.

When i'm done with my class, i'll draw some images to display each skill actual area range for better illustration.

I've already planned to do a decent, extremely in-depth Knight guide, plus a full video explaining everything.

But the procrastination is too strong here
