Extra drop for party of six

Hi, I just want to ask  if the rule: "100% chance to gain one more drop if the player is in a party of 6" still effective, because from what I test last night on the hopy drops, it did not work anymore.

for i know, it should still be working. Today i train with my friend full party in AD3 and i have 3 eye buff, when i kill a hopy it drops 3 event items at the same time.

thank you, there seems to be extra requirement other than member number in a party for the buff to active

I believe (maybe i'm wrong), the player that slayed the monster must be in range with all other five players. For example, if I slay a Hopy and i'm far from all other five party members, extra drop chance will be 0%.

Yeah. I've did some in depth testing and youre right.

The Extra drop formula must be broken. Killed a Hopy with 6 members in range and it still dropped just 1 item.

I´ve been noticed that not everytime u kill a hopy it means u have a drop, sometimes it just drop air, i think thats normal, thats why not everytime u get only 2 ou 3 drops with 3 eye and full pt. GM can confirm it, im almost sure that hopy can drop nothing sometimes.

If there is an air drop from hopy, that might explain everything.

I did these tests, all for 30 mins each, over 10 hopies killed each test (never notice an air drop from hopy though)

 

1. Party of 6, 5 in town, no extra drop

2. Party of 6, all in range at map 85, no extra drop

3. Party of 3, all in range at map 115 (because i only have 3 char >115), 1 fighting 2 afk, no extra drop

4. Party of 3, all fighting, no extra drop

 

I did all these test on a single computer.

 

I'm starting to think you need each char in a different computer (like HG) or IP for the formula to work

I stayed with a friend of mine today in AD2, 2 char of her and 4 of mine (of these 4 of mine, 2 of them were in the city) and we got an extra drop of Hopy event everytime... so I guess the theory about a different IP maybe is right

im pretty sure that theres an air drop on hopy, i saw that on last hopy event too...

Ive never seen a hopy drop air.  always 1... and if i had 3rd eye up always 2.  i think its like xmas.
