1. Know the Character level of your Buyer or Seller.

 

2. Never trade with low levels especially if involves items like DGS,KA,VR,120items..etc.

 

3. If he's using mule or other character ask him whos his main char and let his main character do the trading.

 

4. Other safest way to get a buyer/seller is go to forum http://www.realmpt.com/forum/index.php and look for BUY/SELL section.

 

5. Some hackers sell cheaper items just to encourage you to buy his item.

 

6. Be smart!.

Can you please explain further?

I never accept trades, however i'd like to know- is it the item that they hack? or making use of the trade window in a way i'd never understand?

Also point #5 refers to trade window selling as well?

Like the usuall trading but they do something tricky to make the the trade window stuck or lag,ones you click accept button it stuck and u will never receive his items but your items are gone so basically lag has something to do with it, referring to no.5 to be able for them to find victim they will sell (Vring for 3pcs oredos) in very cheap price or rather trade your items (dgs = 4vring) in order to force you to do the trade. hope it explains well
