Resist?

How does resist stack with absorb or defence? For example, the +15 resist against Frost, Organic, Lightning found in Sapphire fitness mix... I was wondering how useful it could be.

No, it doesn't work as Extra ABS, you could clearly see that while playing as Priest in bless castle, i mean, GLACIAL SPIKE (tier 4 skill) has 80% chance of freezing the target, and 20% of fail.

*when it Freazes, it deals around 180~200 damage, and it reduces the attack speed.

* when it fails, it doesn't have any element,so, it hits around 500~520.

how it works, well, when my priest is with a good force and with ata + Archer buffs, she reaches around 1800 damage, Glacial spike damage boost = 130%

1800+130% = 4.140 damage, that is the row damage.

in PVP there is a static ABs of 80%  ( to simplify, it is just row damage /5) = 828

so,if you are fighting vs a char with 300 abs and around 40 ice res  ---> if it freezes, damage is going to be 828 - ice res% (40%) => 497 - Abs ( 300) = 197.

                                                                                                                      ----> if it fails, Blank damage, damage is going to be 828 - Abs (300) = 528.

that's why skill with elemental attacks, such as ice meteorite, flame wave, etc etc are pretty weak at bless castle, bomb shot, it's still strong cuz it hits 2 times the target.

hummmmm so it works as fixed % of damage reduction instead of ABS points.

that's nice to know...

Thank you so much for the feedback bro ❤️

I see, and the same thing could be applied to normal mobs attacks in PvE?
