that also counts for unique world bows?

And even if bows will have added block, what about all excisting bows?

 

And if u want to have ur bow new stats, you would have to ''donate'' to get new stats?

Or will sandur figure out how to edit already excisting items stats?

As far as I know, item changes only affect Realm World. And yes, if you have a bow in Realm World now, its stats won't be updated, which means it will be old stats. Then, I assume you'll have to do this: http://www.realmpt.com/forum/index.php?topic=24249.0

STR will give ya ATK Power. Not as much as AGI, but at least 50%.

 

We did this because we want to encourage archers to wear armors (which should improve their survival a bit more). Also, block on bows will be added. 120 bow will have 10% block like 120 staff.

Archers will still be fragile, as they're supposed to be.

 

Just make sure you:

-> Wear a decent armor.

-> Use a decent shield and maybe a claw for more defense.

-> Pot quickly & run.

 

I'm sure you'll no longer be killed in one-shot by 10x pikes.

Damage Formula

 

 

Start Damage : 3-4 (but don't forget add talent + agility damage ! )

115 agility = 100% weapon damage boost ( of bows )

130 agility = 100% weapon damage boost ( of javelins )

130 strength = 100% weapon damage boost ( of axes & claws & maces & swords & pikes )

145 spirit = 100% weapon damage boost ( of wands & staffs => for mage)

160 spirit = 100% weapon damage boost ( of wands & staffs => for prs)

190 strength = 100% weapon damage boost ( of bows )

The new damage formula in dev will tell if the changes really changed somthing with AS PVP problem

 

And it's not mgs topic, you can ask Wartale in private when will it happen, because it's in the development list already (Magician 1on1 Improvements)

now, it is -4-0, +without Block.

At the same time AS isn't the only one that needs work. It may not be 100% "fixed" yet but its certainly had enough lately that maybe other classes should start being looked at.

also, i dont think it is a good idea to make this change, it make archer suck.

i hope archer still a archer, they have low ABS & Defence & HP, but best attack power and attack rating. 

but the changes make this class away from what it should be.

changing the formula is unfair to other clases?

archer that die 1-2hits from someone -10lvls than you, is that fair?

the changes won't make archer as a tanker, it will balance her PVP skills.

the block and the defence dont help much for the archer.

i am lol when your "sons" looking for 120 claw ata spec or ns.

 

and there is an important problems: while you make such worthless change for the archer, seems archer get good development, but in fact they didnt.

and while you make some changes for archer, other classes think they should have balances too. so you make all the players keep on asking for balance.

then when other classes get some changes, the archers will complain again, because the changes for them are worthless. so they will ask for balance again. and so on.

本来对于ARCHER来说,AGI=ATTACK POWER,而STRENGHT=ATTACK POWER=MELEES.

有了这个先例,以后其他CLASS也会提出相似的修改要求。

 

比如说,the melees,  they +strenght=+attack power now,but they might ask for +agu=+attack power too.

for the magcial CLASS,pris and mags, they +spirit=+attack power now, but they might ask for +strengh=+attack power too.

the Kinght, might ask for +TALENT=+ATTACK POWER too.

 

i know what the changes mean to the archer, son. i dont know much about other class, but at least, i know what is the true help for the archer.

dont pretend to be the Dady all the ways, you are far away from the GOD.

most of  your skills Balance suggestoins are fake, they just make all the class more and more unbalance, or make all the class need more and more balances.

To translate the part in chinese, G is saying that the 'balance' has changed one of the fundamental formulas of the game, where agil=atp for archer. This might set a slippery slope where melees will now ask for a formula change where agil favours them just like how str (might) favour archer.

You dont seem to understand it.

 

For archer to wear a decent armor, thus increase their tank in pvp a little, they have to sacrifise ALOT of damage atm.

When strenght will add damage, they will lose less damage, thus it will motivate archers to use armor.

Ofcourse they dont want archers to go for 7xx strenght, so strenght gives less damage then agility by quite a bit difference.

 

However then it would still not enough to compensate the dmg lose from current, so they improve agility a little bit.

that way archers can keep nice damage, and be able to use armor withoud too much of a sacrifise, and for max dmg they still are forced to use agility.

 

That is a step towards balancing archers in PVP.

Basicly all of this is done, so that archers will wear high level shields and armors, withoud losing redicilous amount of damage.
