wich is better as or ata and why?

In this priston half classes are balanced, incluiding as and ata, both are very similar rangers, low hp, high attack, speed is key, etc. on archers you have more attack in contrast with a very low resistance, on the other hand you have atalanta with better health and resistance (shield) but a reduced attack. To have an idea, pure ata attacks like hybrid archer. 

In my personal opinion, I prefer archer over ata, and think its (atm) better than ata for both actions, PvE and PvP:

For PvE you have hunt and exping. When hunting, its known that archers do very good (1st place is automech, 2nd as), have good boosts against demons, fast skills, low mana consuming skills and pet. When exping (alone) they are not good, they need tanker or simply be a leech; on partyQ they always have slot.

On PvP archers are usually called overpowered and killing machines, they tank decently due to high evasion and block + hp mixes while making lots of damage very fast. She used to be the best at pvp till some debuffs were made.

 

When talking about atas, they are not the best hunters but they dont do bad either, they have skills that do the job and soul sucker which drains %hp of the monster and helps a lot. Its not fair saying they have a pet considering it doesnt really tank. Not between the best hunters. When exping solo they can def. do the job, they can find builds that allows them to kill while surviving decently. When on ptQ they struggle a bit compared to as but u'll find a pt.

For PvP atas tank way more than as and the block is def increased, also HP (chimera, shield mixes). They attack v good and can deal hitkill with split javelin and critical hits, but they attack little less when compared to as.

As said its my opinion and its important to note that i prefer as. If you ask me, both do good, and atalanta has more future when releasing new items cause her habilities and defense increases highly with it while as depens on her skills which wont improve anytime soon. I suggest you to try which one feels better for you and what are your important points to choose, both are good (but as is cool ?)
